Would be a great signing for us.

Lynne would be a decent addition and would go very well in the Championship.

Keighley have confirmed that Doyle has left but I assumed it was for a Super League club. Seems like he's nailed on for Wakefield.

Lynne would be good and mean we have four centres so plenty of competition for places.

Examiner had the Doyle to Wakey thing as a done deal and confirmed on Tuesday. So Will Oakes?

Adam O'Brien released by Giants. Not sure if he would join a part time Championship club but if so I hope we've at least tried for him. I know he has spent a bit of time on loan at Halifax but he deserves to be playing for a team in the top half of the Championship if not SL.

Madness the Giants prefer Milner to O'Brien. Strong rumours he's going to Fax which would be gutting as he's easily best Hooker in division. Be interesting though as Fax don't have biggest of squads (they were very very lucky with injuries this year) that would be a lot of their budget in one position.

Be typical of Bulls though for fax to get O'Brien and we end up with Hallas. God I hope that rumours not true.

AOB would be a cracking acquisition. I hope we are offering Segerayo a deal for next year. Sam Hallas back for a third spell doesn't fill me with confidence.

O'Brien gone to Fax. Quality signing for them.

Soooooo deflated with that. Yes he works hard etc but he's a L1 player sadly.

If he ends up being our Hooker we're completely stuffed. His distribution is painfully slow. He's no where near big enough for prop.

His only position is 13 but when you compare him to Thompson, Baitieri, he's not on their level.

Really really disappointed with this.

Hallas - a really underwhelming signing in my opinion. I don't get this one. Where is he going to be utilised ? His distribution, speed, and general skills will have had to be massively improved to figure regularly. Nice guy, passionate, runs his blood, etc. But...

Can understand why they'd release this signing this week whilst everyone is thinking about Toulouse but on the same day O'Brien signs at Fax.. we announced Hallas!

Hopefully he has been signed as a squad player, but don't really see what value he adds to the current side. Feels very much like a step backwards and on a two year deal??!! Bizarre.

Thing is everyone talks about how hard he works etc, but he was one of those that lost their heads whenever things went against us and gave away ridiculous penalties.

In the same way Danny Addy ALWAYS ended up at half back, Hallas will inevitably end up our Hooker and will completely stifle us.

Don't think I've been as disappointed with a signing in a long time.

Addy has looked alright when Hull KR have used him in the back row. I'd see Hallas as much the same not a first choice but decent cover in the back row. It slowed us down whenever he was in at Hooker.

I'm not throwing myself off any bridges yet. Let's see who else comes in. I'm sure the coaching staff are fully aware of Hallas's strengths and weaknesses.

For me he's a back up no 13. While he has experience in other positions he's certainly not top end championship quality. He'll add some depth.

Leadership qualities as well. Like all players at this level, he’ll have strengths and weaknesses. He’s a smart player, a good trainer and clubman from what I remember. He’ll bring something to the group.
