Overall, sounds like its been a very good test for the boys (depsite the scoreline not being too close) with Ah Van and Kearney standing out, with Diskin doing a great job guding the boys around from the ruck when on the field.

Bring on the season now!

I think Platts problem was that he made a few (or alot....) of silly mistakes which the fans then got on his back about and he lost his confidence and was stuck in the same cycle.

Ball in hand, Platt can be elusive and dangerous, its just getting it into his hands!

Wakefield fans with a bit of hope in their heart may chalk this result off as meaningless. But can anyone recall if we have been comprehensively beaten in a pre-season friendly and then gone on to have a good year?

Anyone any idea why Herbert came off and didn't return? Bit baffled with some of interchanges tbh. What's point taking someone off the putting them back on a couple of minutes later, which potter did repeatedly.

Walker and Platt look like a very decent centre partnership - with the bonus that Walker can also switch to the second row if needed.

Very impressed by Sibbit today. Looks like the kind of workhorse second rower that every team needs. Willing to the do the hard graft and I can see him being a more than useful bench player

I thought Sibbit was excellent today. But all in all a pretty good team performance. Nice to see the ball thrown around a bit too. Good stuff.

All in all very pleased with todays performance. Thought Diskin was mom for me, he got us onto the front foot every time. I could really pick a bad player today. Though Briggs showed us a glimpse of what he can do when Sykes scored.
