| Well, here's an even more minimalist effort, with the fancy fonts toned down as suggested.
Thing is, I'm really struggling for images to add. It's easy if you won a pot, as the obvious celebratory pics fit well, but after a crap season we ain't got none of them.
If the club would let us add the official logo, which would go on the left, I've tried that and it does look good. I would probably leave it at that unless we want something relating to sponsorship in there, either text or pic of the sponsored players. |

Pics of players would only clutter up the design, and there is the additional risk that they might not actually be on the playing staff......  |

Also, for all of them I would add the following caveats,
- I'm not a fan of the honours thing, for two reasons, firstly we've been p!ss poor for a few years so it gives ammo to the living in the past insults, but more importantly rugby league didn't start in 1996, we won stuff before then....it was just a while ago
I understand why people choose that SL cut off, but I personnally don't like it being applied to an honours board, either all the honours or none IMHO, and I'd go for none.
- I think we definately need to add in a text statment and possibly a picture of whichever player this board sponsers, without doubt.
-no mention of bullbuilder, its a seperate thing and should remain so.
- I like the idea of less being more, I like our current one, but I think a change to a more minimal one is a good move.
But well done to everyone having a go though, we definately need some sort of poll once everyone has a finished idea.'"

Nice one. Excellent contrast.
I'd maybe see how it looked with a space between the first 2 lines of type, just to emphasise the message a little bit more.
Listing Club Honours with specific dates can come back and bite you on the ass if there are no recent ones. On one hand there is justifiable pride in your history, and on the other it looks a wee bit desperate. A poster made a very good suggestion....simply list 4 times SL winners....and your heritage is acknowledged.
