Mick Potters style of play is the same as Bulls have always played. Once Macca took us away from what we knew best and tried to implement his own style we went to pot. Pre Macca era we played basics first minimal error rugby and thats what got us through games. Im looking forward to getting back to that charging Bull style.

The Bulls have played plenty of error strewn rugby in SL and there were certainly many Jekyll & Hyde games during Matty's and Nobby's tenures let alone Macca's.

good news at last. just hope people arent expecting too much too soon. We arent really going to see any improvement due to potter until pre-season friendlies at earliest. He'll be involved in our recruitment/retention for sure and will probably watch all our remaining games, maybe live where theres no sts clash, and may give st hilaire the odd tip buth other than that wont have a big effect this year.
likewise talk about him bringing a raft of sts young stars with him is hogwash. He hasnt been there long enough to inspire kind of loyalty that sees players following the coach to another club.

Other little bit of good news tacked onto end of report is that geoff evans is signing an extension which is good news. our fitness this year has been improved over previous years imo, despite the obvious injuries which havent really been fitnes related, and expect fitness levels to continue to rise as his influence is extended. ( and before anyone says it I know hall is the obvious exception to the improved fitness bit but I suspect theres other factors in play there).

now we just need langley and menzies re-signings to cap off a good news week
