Despite only 3 props and all the injuries our front row was superb. BJ played as a single half and was also faultless.

yea your right, it was more of a down the middle forwards game tonight with the wet conditions, but i still think he made alot of errors considering he didnt get too much ball.. hopefully next week will be dry so we can see more of the lulia/crookes combination we saw against kr.. a big game next week ! i see salford as one of our main rivals for getting that 8th spot so we better get a good result ! .. anyone know when gale is likely to be back ?

Late April is forecast but these are generally pessimistic time lines : so perhaps early April at best and mid April probably

A great win tonight and it was good when i got home and saw what Eddie and the sky commontators were giving us some praise-keep it up Bulls-onwards and upwards.

Jeffries - Gale will struggle to get his place back if BJ can keep this form up!
Manuokafoa - Made good yards with each carry.
Kearney - Try saving tackle on Hohaia and some crucial plays in defence and attack.

Would have put Elima in but thought Kearney played whole game so gave him benefit of doubt even though Olivier was amazing. GOD we have badly missed his power and defence so far. COYB

I also thought Hargreaves had another fantastic game.

Jeffries. Again. He has silenced his critics in the best possible way. Match winner.
Kearney. Super stint at the back again. Looked safe as houses.
Nas. Looking the real deal running the ball up.

But hard again. Hargreaves another candidate for most improved, Diskin much more influential than you initially realise, Purtell impressed as did Tom, Elima stiffened up the pack no end although so nearly lost it...but like last week they all deserved it.

I could get used to these difficult decisions!

Great efforts all round, but my three are:

Elima - great effort and got under the skins of Saints.
Diskin - superb defence and great directing from dummy half
Bateman - loads of tidying up defensively, never took a backward step going forward. Awesome from the young man.

1. Elima - great aggression. Really stood up to the Saints pack, whereas days gone by, we would probably have said sorry to them.
2. Kearney - ran round all ame, made a crucial try saving tackle and looked solid all night,
3. Jefferies - superb kicking game, keptturning Saints round all night

Elima - The aggression he brings to us does wonders for the side. Gives passion, confidence, self belief. Ran in hard and tackled well. You couldn't tell it was his first game of the season.
Jeffries - Recently it feels like we can have confidence in Jeffries to control the game. He knows what he and the side are capable of and his tactical kicking in the rain at times was great. Think all of us and Ben himself know he's no world beater, but the side are getting to know his plays properly and they seem to have confidence in each other.
Kearney - Solid and reliable at the back. Made some good runs too, and his one handed take in the first half was good to watch.
