theres a really good all you can eat chinese at vicar lane next to cine world think its about 8.50 per person only ten minutes drive from stadium if you go enjoy its called china city or something if not cue gardens next to the stadium serve food all day up to 9.00pm

just to clairfy, are you expecting to park at the ground and then walk somewhere to eat...or eat and then come to the ground?

try the Chapel house they do good food and only 10 mins from odsal

You're going to struggle with that, not much in walking distance and I wouldn't vouch for the quality of anything round there.

If you want a good curry grab some chips in the ground, head into town and eat after the game.

Akbars is only a 5 minute drive from Odsal Top...or Saffron Desi over the road. Then pop into the 147 bar for a few and onto the match. Client will be well impressed.

There is the Toby Carvery pub that serves all day carvery just 5 minsfrom Odsal, I think it's about £5. It's quite decent food and the best time to go is usually somewhere around tea time when it's fairy busy and everything is fresh.

It's just on Rooley lane mate, the actually pub is called The Pavillion and it's a chain of Toby Carvery, it's on the same side as the old golf course and the opposite side to McDonalds. I think it's opposite a Yorkshire water building if I'm correct. It's not bad at all, I've been lots of times.

Ah yeah, it was one of those 'kids theme pubs' a few years back?
Either way, never thought of that, a decent carvery, few pints and off to the match - good call!

The Future curry house is at the top of Wibsey bank just up from Odsal roundabout.

Yeah that's right mate. It used to be called Brewsters a fair few years back. There is also another carvery pub in Tong that's not such a big chain, that's really good food there. If people want a Indian buffet then I think there is one down Manchester Road called Sahib's. I've been there a few times. It keeps closing down and opening back up though and I'm not sure about it's opening times though. As for Chinese buffet, there are three that I go to quite regularly but only one is in Bradford that is Beijing Diner on Halifax Road, it's £4.50 but it's only open on Mon, Weds and Fri I think and certain times. The other is in Halifax, that's called The Imperial which is open 1200 - 1400hrs daily Mon - Sat and is £5 and finally there is Jumbo in Huddersfield which is open all day everyday which costs £8. Jumbo is the best and has the best selection.

On a non match day maybe but remember a few thousand people will be traveling down Dick Ln at around that time and he will be coming in from the 606.

Top place also the price varies depending when you go before half 6 it's £6.99.

A few of the reasons I like Jumbo so much is because there is so much coice and you can be sure that they will always try new things in their buffet. Those little spicy sausages that they have are to die for, I took my boy their and gave him a few without knowing how much chili they contained, poor lad burned his mouth out with them. Also they serve pancakes with duck and plum sauce aswell which is quite hard to come by in budget buffet resturants.

TBF even Sebastian Coe would struggle from Odsal to either of those and back. And if he ate much, I wouldn't even put money on him making it for kick off

When the person said they were travelling from the other side of the hill then my immeadiete presumption was that he was travelling from Lancashire, I know they said they wanted to park up but I was just thinking if they wanted to try either of those players then they could call before the game on the way in from Lancashire, after all, it's only 20 mins in the car at the most.

If it's any help Cue Gardens does food on Sundays not sure about Friday nights, that's a stones throw from the ground.

Yeah it does mate, I'm not to keen on it myself though. I've had some pretty poor stuff in there. Although the BBQ shack might be open, which is decent.
