Thats a fair comment but you have to think....not all will be missing because of football. they dont clash. most likely wiill miss it because its very early in morning for a lot of people on a sunday. It's on at a sunday league rugby time....poor scheduling. tonight would have been better. not many people (depending on where they live) can make it for half 11 in the morning on a sunday. I'm disappointed because it has meant I can't make it. I live in ripon and it means a long journey and I am also moving house so I don't have time that early in the morning as I scheduled to move early so i could make the afternoon kick off. unfortunate

Mick, you don't know what reasons have for missing the games, so you have no reason to judge.

I'm missing the game, because;

a) I live in South Manchester, which adds an extra 1h 15 minutes on to the journey back to Bradford, which means getting up earlier on a weekend. Weekend = lie in.
b) I already have plans with friends to discuss projects, have a bit of a up
c) Then watch the England game.

I love my RL! Quite often I'll spend my morning watching some junior rugby (a mates young lad, not just random matches) and then spend my afternoon watching the Bulls wherever! Personally there isn't many things I'd rather do on a Sunday than watch some RL in the sun.

Everyone has different priorities though Mick! I'm in the fortunate position of having no dependants and enough disposable income to support my habit each week!

I enjoy going down the Lane at Cas. Probably my favourite away ground (except for that evening match a few years ago when it totally peed it down...)

But I am probably going to miss this one because just back from holiday and have to do a load of work before Monday. The KO change stuffed me. First time I have missed a game at Cas for a lot of years.

What a load of old tosh! Football is our national sport and England are our team in the world cup. The football is slightly more important than a league game at Castleford me thinks!!

Important to more people perhaps, but more important, well no, not really.

Mick i admire your passion for the BULLS i too would love to be at every game but an expensive course to help me gain a trade means not a lot of disposable income is left so i have to economize.

I know they moved the kick off to avoid a clash with the England game but 11:30? Who thought that one up? It should have been moved to sit along side the evening games today or brought forward to Saturday afternoon

I understand that people have financial constraints to adhere and follow so Im not having a go at you.

What ssses me off to the hilt is the supporters who come on here starting stupid threads about my club when they've not been at a game in years and don't really have a clue as to what has happend at the game.

They don't know how much effort the players have put in or not as today showed.

They just see the score and think Bradford have lost again, I'll start another boring thread and have a swipe at McNamara while Im at it.

You "thinks" wrong. There is not a sporting event on this planet more important than a Bradford Bulls match ~ Trust me, I know about these things!!!!!

Same as me, Rugby League comes before anything else.

Why should I?

I love the greatest game and can't enough of it.

Do you have a family? A mortgage? Household bills to pay? Responsibilities?

To the extent that you do not, when commeth the day that you DO then you will maybe understand what TT is talking about.

I do pay household bills Addet, rent, water rates, council tax etc but I still find the time and money to support the team I love and so should everyone else instead of sitting behind a computer posting "sack McNamara crap" when they've not even been to the game to see the effort the players have put in.

Unfortunately Mick some of us would rather put food on the table and use the little money we have to enjoy with our families, do not presume people havent been to any games or dont put money into the club, your one man attack on everyone (regardless of situation) who doesnt attend games once again rears its head.

in this day and age the luxury of attending a sporting event is not everyones priority and other things come first.

The thread was started after so called Bulls fans said nope I won't be going to the game, I'll stay at home and watch the wendyball.

Hmmm so should everyone else........ so because i dont go but do post on here i fall in this "everone else bracket", everyone is entitled to their opinion, everyone regardless of the games they go to can call theselves a fan or a supporter, who are you to say "shut up dont say anything cos you dont go" which is pretty much what you get at on a fair few threads.

Mr. Gledhill, congratulations on being the only person after BradfordServiceCrew who has irritated me enough to go onto my "block" list on here. I really can't be bothered with your posts any more and will no longer be reading them. Au revoir!

Sorry Lads but I have to agree with Mick on this one:
(1) He was talking about sporting events only and he like me, would put a
Bradford Bulls game before any other sporting event, full stop!
(2) I am sure Mick has other things in his life that he has to deal with. What
they are is none of your business!
(3) Supporters:
follow the club physically & financially support them by attending matches
and cheering the boys on, week in-week out, good times & bad.
Fans:
follow the teams progress but for what ever reason cannot find the time,
money or effort to support them physically or financially throughout the
season ~ many, of course, are "hen-pecked" or just "tight"
(4) Finally, anyone is entitled to say what they like on this forum, as I am sure
Mick would agree but don't expect to fool those of us who actually
attended the game and witnessed the action.

Doesn't mean anything to me, good riddance and enjoy watching the games from your Linda Barker signature range sofa, while us true supporters spend thousands watching our team year on year.

That is the point Im getting at and thankyou for understanding what I was saying all along.

I don't expect to come back from the game and see pathetic posts on here from people who have just seen the result and have no idea as to how the game panned out and how it came to the result it ended at.
