If the rumours about Wing are true then he will be in place of Jeffries or Newton. Personally I'd rather have Newton at 9 and the quality of Wing in the halves.

IIRC Wing moved clubs last time in Oz becuse he wanted to play 6 but was being asked to play too much 9 in his view. So I doubt he'll move all the way to Bradford to play 9, [iif [/ihe comes he'll be at 6, probably with deacs still at 7 and maybe with Newton still at 9, with Godwin off the bench.

Deacon won't be dropped until his contract runs out. In Macca's eyes he holds the team together.

problem is jeffries is our best half this year. so releasing him and bringing in another half, even if they are a lot better doesnt really solve the root problem of the other half being poor ( when he isnt injured)
