Also on the signing of Glenn Hall this is a major coup. He is a Big Unit will hopfully give us the platform in the middle alongside Lynch so that Burgess can develop as a backrower and the backs can begin to play. I have always thought we are too light in the pack in the Macca era despite the ever balooning Solomona but I really think this is the way forward

But we would miss his penetration out wide. We don't want him blocking the passage of promising young forwards, although he could plug a hole at a pinch.

Someone on the Hull board knew in advance that Long was coming and also said we were close to getting Lynch. Since then he said it looks like we now won't be getting Lynch so make of that what you will.

McNamara and the Beaver entice another current GF standard top Aussie to the Bulls. Interesting. So far as I'm concerned, Hall is pretty much at the top of his game and is a bloody great signing, now if Lynch isn't tempted to stay and play alongside the likes of Hall, Menzies and Burgess then there's something wrong with him.
