| Once again it is a broken system that has once again landed Bradford RL fans with a dodgy owner with a track record of liquidation and large debts to the tax man. Albeit in NZ so that doesn't count on the fit and proper test over here according to Big Nigel. I'm all for accepting new owners with good grace, but only if it's a fair process and unfortunately I've spent too many years on the inside to ever trust Big Nigel and his cronies. [DELETED So many questions to answer for the madness and sadly the Bradford Bulls will never recover from this decision.
Going bust and using the system to escape isn't [icriminal[/i, even if we feel it might be, so using that word isn't justified.

I don't know why but this post has a whiff of Mick Gledhill/Peter Hood.
Where have you got your info regarding going part time. The players nor Rohan seem to know at the moment...

People were hardly beating the door down to buy us. Sounds like there were 4 option.
1. We currently have no club. We can continue to have no club (not a good option).
2. Thorne buys the club with Marc Green (you said this was not a good option)
3. Lamb buys the club and fans own a 52% stake in the club. Obviously requires fans to buy the stake but at this moment in time, given the current feeling and the fan numbers, is this feasible? Possibly part time?
4. Charmers. Bad track record and going part time (according to you). It's a consortium so may have financial backing and a plan for Odsal.
I'm confused, which option should the RFL have gone with?

| A good businessman is generally one with a couple of bankruptcies behind him.
Let's go into this without pre judgment.
I reckon he's just a front man for a well known stinking rich backer.

Very bitter post from a man `in the know` who at the end of the day................wasn`t.
Chalmers wasn`t head of NZ RL without reason. Over here he will have monetary support and the result will be good for the Bulls (2017).
My only gripe would be the club should be in C1 as the HMRC will now be watching EVERY club to ensure Tax payments are made on time.

| This decision is solely down to the RFL, so if it turns out to be as big a disaster as you seem to think, they're going to look pretty stupid aren't they?
Let's just wait and see what happens next week. That press conference will soon turn sour if part time rugby is on the cards.

| Charmers was the RFL'S preferred bidder preliquidation. Their statement said that, should the bid be accepted, then the Bulls have an exciting future ahead of them. Are you sure that future is part time rugby?

| In all seriousness, have you still not learnt the lesson? Full-time rugby is not sustainable for your club. This is a perfect opportunity to go part time and build the infrastructure/finances of the club, instead of spending money on a full-time team that won't make the middle eights due to the points deduction.

How on earth do you know what structures and funds the new owners have available? If they have proved its sustainable to go full time no issues for me. No one knows until they reveal themselves properly and their plans are, they might want to go part time! So until they reveal which direction they want to go I reckon fans of other clubs (especially ones with vile hatred) should stick their opinions of what the owners should or shouldnt be doing up where the sun dont shine and shove off

True. I cant see the club being P/T really. I am upbeat. There is new hope with the new club. Drawing from the Administrators report the last management of the Bulls was woeful even pitiful. I, probably like many, can look forward to the new owners finding players and making announcements that will bring a healthy, successful club to the city.
Bulls supporters are not quitters, No it wont be easy but its all now quite exiting. I am glad and happy the haters are disappointed

We're not the ones making that call. The majority of Bradford fans wanted to restart in c1 on zero points, the ft or pt then would be down to the new owners resources.
We won't make the middle 8s, but if the new owner wants to fund a ft team that is the most likely way to avoid relegation. Either way, as has been made abundantly clear over the past 6 years or so there is pretty much feck all we can do as fans other than voice our opinion and support the players wearing the shirt.

| Well, this group who've taken over the Bulls are the hand picked of the RFL.
The RFL said that which ever bid was successful, they would have to provide plans and funding to ensure 3 years of rugby at Bradford.
However, several players are still unhappy that they know no more than the general public and are still officially unemployed.
You'd think the RFL would have more concern over player welfare than is currently been shown. Especially if this whole endeavour goes tits up as the RFL will be left holding the bag with more than egg on their face

I believe everyone is in agreement that we should wait and see what the new owners say before making further judgment. What is more concerning is that there are rumblings that they may use some of the previous management team in their set up. As has been pointed out by the administrators these people are seriously not fit for purpose. So a question for all Bulls fans is this, would you be happy to take back any of the previous management (Rohan excepted) or do you think there should be a full clear out?

It's tricky.
I think its high time we saw the back of Stuart Duffy - just too much 'previous' for him to ever really be trusted by the fans.
On the other hand, given the short time scales etc, there is a case for having some continuity. So maybe there are some people who it would be prudent to keep on. But as for who, I really couldn't say as I don't really know who still works in the back office

| Not knowing the responsibilities of specific individuals it's not for me to name names but my preference is for new brooms to sweep as clean as possible. I don't think it's as important to the restoration of the brand as just having a club but I suspect sadly it's probably a thing. The more of those who remain affiliated with the choices of the past the longer the toxicity of the brand remains.

| I'm confident the new regime will opt for their own staff.
Previous owners came in with no knowledge of what was required to run a club, and therefore relied on the experience of people whom were already employed. The new owners are a consortium, and if we are to believe rumours, have a decent Rugby League backing. As a result, I expect them to put in place their own team.
Given the NZ links (apparently....), I wouldn't be surprised if they call upon RHP to oversee some of the immediate jobs. I don't think he flourished under Green and part of me wants him to prove that he can be successful.
I still think there are a number of surprises around the corner. I'll feel a little more at ease when I see the list of names associated with the consortium.
