| Just wanted to take a straw poll of you diehards
The third option is because the poll will be left open, and if stuff happens, you can change your vote

Haven't had one for an couple of years because of work commitments.
If that would change I would get one regardless of price. I'd support us playing on Elmsleys Rec.

| Picked 'Unlikely to renew at any price - but give me time to think about it'
The last couple of years, and especially this year, have really, really made me reconsider that kind of week by week commitment.
If that makes me 'not a true fan' (even after close on 50 years of being a fan).. well... so be it

| I didn't get one this year because of my job situation at the time, but was considering getting one for next year.
But as it stands, I'm about 80% done with this club and I'm probably not in a minority

| Probably not best time to ask as their is A LOT of anger at the club and those spineless so called players.
I'm undecided. Will have to see what the squad looks like.
Clear out the utter dead wood (90% of the current squad) and build around the taltned academy players.
Time to take long term approach.

| This mini straw poll FWIW already looks like grim reading for Ferres and Green. It points to sub-2000 crowds if we are lucky.

| I'll renew but I have a love of futility and decay. I don't imagine it's a paticularly common world view though, so not something that can really sustain a club. My mum is also getting a season ticket for Xmas whether she wants one or not, because that's what I've always got her and I'm too lazy to think of anything else.

| I pay on the gate anyway as I usually miss a few games due to family commitments so it's not cost affective for me to buy a ST. Therefore I haven't voted. I'm not saying I'm done but there needs to be a hell of a turnaround for me to justify spending a Sunday afternoon away from my family. I'm done for this year now and I'll wait to see what the future holds before I make any decisions. Part of me thinks it might have been easier to take if they had pulled the plug on the club rather than watch it's slow, painful demise.

| I'll be renewing as long as they don't increase the price. This seasons failings are nothing to do with the fans and a price increase would definitely make people even more angry than they are now.
I think we're already seeing the approach that the club is going to take to marketing/keeping people's interest: the re-signing of Ethan Ryan, the promotion to the first team of the group of academy stars and the potential re-signing of Leon. I think people will respond well to making the focus of the first team being "home grown", the chants directed at Ethan Ryan today show that people want to support a lad who has come up through our system and plays with pride in the shirt.
I have confidence in Rohan Smith. He has quickly identified the short comings of the current team and taken steps to rectify (Moss, Chisholm, Charnock). Once he has been able to get rid of the real deadwood and bring in a few more of his choice of players we'll start to see a real change. Don't get me wrong, there are a handful of the current bunch that always give their all and seem to love the club and are actually decent players (Clare, Caro, Sidlow, O'Brien, Welham, Mellor) but that is unfortunately not enough.
There seems to be a mentality instilled in some of the current players that they are better than they are and don't need to try (probably brought about by Jimmy and his unhelpful comments about the system and the first 23 rounds being pre-season). That coupled with the fact that several of them seem to have super league deals lined has all contributed to the current situation.
London have shown exactly how to do a resurgence/revival this year. Get a squad of solid individuals who are all pulling in the same direction and truly love the club and we will be back.
However if we re-sign Matty Blythe you can scrap all the above and cancel my membership now.

| I'm not voting just now because I suspect my anger will subside and I'm not ready to give up on my team just yet. I am however not in any great rush to visit Odsal and this year and using my remaining membership. I may reconsider if RS gives a few of the future crop some game time however.
If prices remain at the high level, I feel I am more likely to pay on the gate and see how things go rather than take a season long commitment out.

Yep, i'd also like them to ask him about the importance of half backs/full backs. I know he wasn't helped by the late departures of Gareth O'Brien, Jake Mullaney and Harry Siejka but come on, Rohan managed to get Charnock, Chisholm and Moss in no time at all.
The championship shield is going to be hard to get excited about, even though the home games are covered by the season ticket. I'd rather the season just ended now. It just gives Halifax a couple more opportunities to get one over on us!

There's the problem for Green, in one. Of those not disillusioned totally, he needs cash up front from membership, and you've explained one of the eminently reasonable reasons why he won't get it.
For people of your view (which will be very many) the Catch 22 is that your wait and see will lead to the very outcome which you fear - as insufficient season ticket sales inevitably means beastly limited wage bill.

| I think a lot will depend on what transpires over the next few weeks and the off season.
The club need to react to what happened today, if I was in charge I'd be looking at making some kind of statement as early as next week.
Get all of the departure announcements out of the way asap, the rumours have been there almost all season so nobody will be that shocked by them.
I want some acknowledgement from the club that [ithey[/i have f*cked this season up, royally. I want assurances that we will remain full time and Marc's intentions for next season and beyond. Season ticket pricing also needs to be addressed.
Focus on the positives, the potential in our academy players, giving Rohan a full off season to amass his own squad, and the clear out of all the deadwood.
If they can do this, with some humility, then I'll have no problem renewing.
What they absolutely [ican not[/i do, is try and turn this around on the fans. If there is even a hint of management trying to put pressure on fans to renew, or threats of what might happen if we don't renew, then they can f*ck right off. It would be an absolute disaster, ticket sales would tank and it would probably spell the end of full time rugby in Bradford. I'm hoping Green and Ferres have more sense than to come out and pin all of this on us.

| Agree with that - no more cringy article from Ferres in the T&A that the fans really need to get behind the team during the trip to Swinton etc. We were there in droves today and were hardly repaid

I know what you mean about Catch-22. The problem is they lie to you. We were promised a slimmer squad with more quality and then they rushed out buying Tom, Dick & Harry. Even tempting players out of retirement that also kept their SL job. I really think we need to see something up front now.

| I look on Bradford’s plight with a “there but for the grace of God go I” attitude.
Next season looks pretty dire regarding funding & S.T sales, so I don’t see how you will compete for the top four next year.
So why go chasing it next year? Why not assemble a group of mainly young local lads, with a smattering of experience, because one thing Bradford isn’t short of, that’s producing some top talent.
They could have a rigid wage structure for the young lads, you know the ones, the young lads that would try to run through a wall for the badge. The “Leeds” model wasn’t too shabby.
It would be hard at first, but as the team came on together, they would be challenging for a top four spot in one or two years, unless of course some Sugar Daddy was to Rock Up. I think with a good coach this would be the most viable financial option.

The Leeds model meant they could dangle SL contracts to their youngsters. With the demise of second team opportunity it is now hard to hang on to your young players, Bateman being a case in point.

| I'm still pretty dejected over what happened yesterday to make an informed decision. I've no doubt I'll change my outlook later in the year, but right now I'm not sure I want to go to any more games this year. I certainly won't be wasting money on the Cumbrian trips, but the home games I'll likely show up for largely because I've already paid for them, and I'm too tight to not get my money's worth!
One thing is for 100% sure. If they take the Michael and put prices UP next year, they are welcome to shove their season ticket where the sun don't shine.

| I'll be renewing. The influx of academy players into the side is a good sign that we're going in the right direction long term. I'm more interested in watching them than a bunch of journeymen who have no feeling invested in the club.

| No doubt I'll be there next year - is there anything else to do on a Sunday?
I think, like the Hamster, I'll not be bothering with many away games though, specially in far flung places simply because I don't think I can work up the enthusiasm any more this year.
I'm looking forward to whatever next year brings though. I always considered Rohan Smith's appointment to be a long term one and, as promotion was really never more than an impossible dream, even before yesterday's game, I'd already given up on this season. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the funding is for next year but the promise was for a full time team, so I'd expect that to be respected as far as possible. If season tickets sales take a drastic tumble though, cuts will have to come somewhere , I have few doubts about that.

| I generally feel like I've hit rock bottom with it now and am not sure I want to keep forking out so much money just to ruin my Sundays. But I'm sure that will change and I'll end up renewing.
If the price goes up though, I won't be doing purely out of principle.
Phil Caplan on Radio Leeds after the game yesterday was essentially saying it's the fans that people need to feel most sorry for right now, not the people within the club. They're the ones who mostly spend their money, invest their emotions and keep turning up, only for them to end up massively disappointed. I think it's about time the club realised this too instead of keeping ticket prices so expensive and just expecting the fans to keep paying it.
I appreciate that lowering the prices means less income and therefore a less competitive squad. But I think a lot of fans are at the end of their tether now and if the club want to keep hold of them, they need to do something for them.
