Well I noticed that within a few weeks of him coming in that work had been done on a lot of the terracing at the Rooley Lane end, particularly on the barriers or whatever you call those things you lean on.

Can't see us moving when work's been paid for.

The hardcore support always preferred Odsal to VP too so not surprised a move is off the agenda.

For myself I am less bothered than I used to be. I'd rather see us in a modern stadium without the massive overheads but that might be an impossible dream.

I would have thought Barrow would be least likely destination for you next season.

Errm, yes 'reign', as in what monarchs [and oligarchs do, and distinct from 'rein' for controlling horses and 'rain' which makes you wet. I guess he could have said, 'under my management', but what the hell we use the word for council leaders, mayors and leaders of companies. It's not really being pretentious, if that's what you're alluding to...so if he does well, I hope he's 'long to reign over us'...

I guess it's that vague concept 'the forseeable future'.

The truth is that he owns the company and can, pretty much, do what he wants and he doesn't need our permission to change his mind if he feels that 'needs must'. In fairness, we can only accept that this his feeling as of right now, and much as I personally would prefer to stay at Odsal, [iif[/i at some time in the future he feels it isn't in the club's best interests to do so, then I'd expect him to do what he actually feels is in the club's best interests.

As long as he doesn't reign on Valley Parade, it's fine by me

Same here having followed them since 1962 I dont know whether I could follow them to Valley Parade. When we played there it just did not seem the same but I felt at least we were going to go back home. I`ve nothing against City or its fans but I would have serious reservations.

The same way every other club continue to play in their grounds: subterfuge, occult practices and invoking curses. Obviously.

Or maybe, just maybe, Mr Green has done the maths and found that playing at Odsal would be the most affordable and preferred option for Bradford Bulls to play their home games. You know, by paying rent and stuff.
