Does anyone know when the decision/outcome of the points deduction will be announced, are we talking a month, week or days...and good luck hope you get them all back as unlikely as i think it will be

If it was another franchise season I don't think you should have been entitled to any points back, but something few seem to have picked up on, is that when Wakefield suffered a deduction the consequences were minimal considering super league status was assured, I think it would be grossly unfair if poor timing cost your club greatly.

2pts - you have a chance, 4pts - you'd be well in the mix, 6pts - I'd personally be delighted to see our neighbours or Salford go!

I'd say that's positive, it's not a straight forward no.

It was never going to be a 'no' on first hearing. I'd say it was more of a case of the panel being minded to dismiss the appeal, but the claimant being given every opportunity to fight their case.

Not sure if you have heard, but 'apparently' the panel members are independent (no connection to the RFL)

Pinsent Masons who have supplied two appeal panel members have been involved with legal advice provision to the RFL since 2005.

At least they didn't turn it down straight away which might mean we are not a million miles away from convincing them.

Or maybe they are giving us every chance to persuade them before they say no while laughing at us.
