Wouldnt mind to see Rhys Evans (Bens twin) swift player and can fill in at wing/centre or fullback if needed, think he is abit over looked

Does Scruton's contact expire this year? If so, I would be disappointed if we fail to retrain his services. This has been his best year with us, in my opinion.

Agree has come on leaps and bounds like Donno, past couple of seasons have been hampered by injury but have impressed me this season.

The forwards are ok imo and are workmanlike.
Bosc could be the answer at half back,we'll have to wait and see.
BUT,I would like to see DIXON from London on our wing.I couldn't give a toss about his tackling,that can be worked upon,but put him in a GAP and he's GONE--4 POINTS.
Whether getting DIXON is realistic or not,I don't know,but I would have a go.
If not him then Escare,but I think that is unrealistic at this point.

I can't understand why the t&a would run that piece about Ainscough if there was no chance of him coming back. Why pick him out amongst all the other ex-Bradford players?
Also, he keeps being mentioned in tweets from the official Bulls twitter feed. It might be just a coincidence, but again he is the only ex-player being mentioned/asked to retweet info etc. Why him and nobody else?

We won't get Dixon or Escare, not a chance. Riley I would take, but he won't be cheap and I imagine he would have his pick of offers.

Riley and Dixon are the quickest wingers in Super League.Imagine what firepower a team would have with them two out wide.

Riley, Foster and Donno on the left.
Dixon, Blythe and Bateman on the right.

Would be fairly decent.

Would have a decent change of landing Broughton, cant see salford keeping him especially as they have their heads up in the clouds.

Any news on Gaskell??? We still looking at him as he would be cover and also a good centre.

Wouldn't send shivers down my spine playing against the above, only Blythe and Bateman could pose an issue.

Given Warrington seem to be going though a similar building process, it wouldn't surprise me to see Blythe playing 1st team for them next year.

I think Bateman plays better in the left, Imo.

Rebuilding is what has been going on since we came out of admin.

Talk of the likes of Escare, Mannering, Matulino etc coming is total insanity. The club are skint. We get half the sky money of everyone else too. That's why we have only 4 fulltime backroom staff working with the players.

Well we can all go on about who we would like to see pulling on a Bulls shirt - but look at from the players point of view: most would like to be in a top four club like Mr Whitehead, most would be rightfully wary of a club which nearly went under less than a year ago, and the terraces are not exactly buzzing at the moment.

So as Bullseye says - a bit a realism, lets see if FC can put a stronger squad togather for next year, lets see if we can strengthen the backroom team, lets see if Robbie can work some magic and attract some more funds into the club. So what do I think would be a reasonable target for next year - top 8 placing and winning more than half our games - from last year that would be a major achievement.

Thats my point when I started this thread I would like to know "realistically" who we could sign AND who we could lose in order to improve next year.

Escare and alot from aus we hve no hope in hell of getring anywhere near but I beliege there are some decent players out there who will come in and do a good job for us, would like to hear everyone's thoughts on who we could sign that would inprove our team and also add depth to our squad.

Spot on Bullseye. We aren't going to be signing any superstars like Escare. In fact i was shocked we managed to land a player like Carvell. Dale Fergusons are the types of players we will be signing. Honest hard grafters who will improve the team.

For me Ainscough is a no brainer. We desperately need some speed. Not just attacking wise, but so we also have someone other than Kear to chase down the opposition when they make a break. Think Cummins made an error letting him go. His enthusiasm his infectious.

Cummins didn't let Ainscough go, he rejected the contract offer.

Practically let him go with the offer he gave Ainscough. And tbf we have paid for not having pace out wide. Only Kear who's fast.

Hasn't there been a change in Ainey's circumstances or so I read somewhere? Course, it might be Bullsheet of the lowest order and I won't pretend to know what FC would think about it anyway, but to me, if he is now able to come for the original offer, or somewhere near, his enthusiasm alone is worth a fair bit.

I'd take him back if we could afford him, but FC knows a fair bit about wing play so I'd go with his judgement.
