The players meeting which was schedualed today at 10am has been cancelled.

If any players do wear the shirts and play on Sunday (far from certain the game will be on IMO) they would all need a standing ovation.

I second this. Absolutly appauled that our players, the ones who bleed and sweat for this club who have shown so much passion in recent games are being treated liek dog sh*t on Gaddaffi's shoe. Disgusting.

This club is a disgrace to the name of RL. If you know who does gain control of what's left over do you really want to give him your money after the way his puppet is treating people? Come on Bulls fans we need top band together and form a new,decent club in CC1.

Feel for you the fans, more so the ones who were there when you were northern. This makes our situation at the beginning of last season look like nothing more than a minor blip. It's obvious from the outside looking in that this whole situation has been manipulated, how can caisley be advising the administrators when he is one of the people who are interested in taking over. When noble takes over I hope the players take a strong stance and refuse to play for him out of respect for potter who has done a simply amazing job in face of such adversity. If they do this you should all stand and applaud them. I didn't think noble would be snide enough to be involved in all this but he obviously is. For me he should go from cult hero at Bradford to absolute zero. I know you all want your club to survive and so do I but do you want it to happen in such corrupt circumstances? Really feel for you guys you're stuck between a rock and a hard place and Brendan Guilfoyle and Chris caisley are pulling at your heart strings. God knows what the players are thinking

Great post in the true spirit of rugby league. I applaud you for your humility and for thinking about the good of the game in the long term rather than just accepting a quick fix that looks as bent as could ever be. Surely the rfl can't sanction this take over as much as they want you to stay in the super league. It's fair to say the rfl have given you far greater assistance than they afforded us but I'd be happy if they funded your players wages to the end of the season if a credible new owner can't be found.

It's almost as if they're deliberately trying unsettle the players.

If BG is really thinking about the future of the club, as he claims, then he should be trying to keep the players onside. Can't help thinking that its being done on purpose. Nobody can be that incompetent, can they?

Going by some of Bateman's tweets it seems as though he's lost a lot of respect for the club and I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted out pretty soon. I know he's young but he does need to watch what he's saying. Calling the RFL corrupt, whether true or not, isn't the way a professional rugby player should conduct himself.

I really don't know what to do now?
Do i go to the game and show my support for Bradford Rugby League, or do i boycott the game to show my disgust at Caisley and his puppet?

Its still only rumour and conjecture that caisley is pulling the strings. We don't actually know (and if someone claims to know I wouldn't belive them).

And what happens if many people get their way, no caisley, then no other bid materilises...what then?

What if BG is actually meeting the person claiming to have been representing Greenwoods? If there is an opportunity there I'd expect him to follow it up. Not contacting the players is unprofessional but imo meeting someone looking to buy the club is higher priority.

yeah if there is a choice between maliciousness and incompetence I assume the later in the absence of evidence. All he'd need to do would be to phone 1 of the players. Surely that can't be beyond him.
