I've had my critism about Herbert many times before but he was absolutely fantastic tonight! Well done to him. Also thought whitehead was superb! Onwards and upwards now bulls!!!

Herbert has been better than he has been given credit for this season.( except for warrington game )
He is now playing behind a pack of forwards that is having a real go. imagine how well we would have gone if we hadn't given so many turnovers ! Herbert will also be benefiting from having a regular 6 to work with as no half can do it all by themselves. 40/20 two weeks in a row

He was superb tonight as was Elliot Whitehead.

Herbert's kicking game was great. Always defended him this season and I'd like to see him at the club next season. If we stopped turning over the all the time we'd see even more of him.

Any news on Jefferies? It'd be a shame if he was out.

I think with the news of Seymor going to Hull FC he's really upped his game the past three weeks with some excellent performances and I really hope he continues to improve week in, week out because with only eight games left of 2011 I still feel he could be shown the door.

Another 40/20, from the west terrace it was hard to see some of his work in the first half, but from what I saw his kicking was great, and it was in the second too.

He's had his knockers, but in defence he's exceptional for a halfback and in attack he proved what he's capable of tonight. Keep it up.

My rhinos following mate thought herbert was the difference. Not sure i'd go that far but he did well. Can't say he's convinced me to stay on another year, but if he kicks on from this then who knows.

To be serious, I think both sides have improved since then and (hopefully) the weather won't be an issue. Historically I guess that Catalans record at Odsal is better than their record on any other English ground (they do seem to get the points more often than I'm happy with) which compensates, to some extent, for our good record in the south of France.......maybe we should offer to play them in Perpignan again?, a bit more notice would have been nice but I think I could live with that............

He might give a number of 'assists' and his kicking game has improved but the key skill for a scrum half is to take the ball in the middle of the field and pass it quicker than the opposition defenders can slide/move up. This is a skill Marc Herbert does not posess.
