Our toughest match so far, we were poor against Saints, but are now starting to pull together. We have the protential to win but how confident are you?

I think a few factors will play a big part.

1/ The weather, so far the Aus signings have struggled in the wet conditions so we will have to see.

2/ The 3/4s, Wigan have some class players in Roberts, Gleeston and Richards. I really hope Sheriffe is fit and Nero can hit some form otherwise we may struggle to control them. However our wing defense has got better I hope we can contain them.

3/ Tomkins and Leulaui vs Orford and Kearney, this will be a big battle and I really hope Orfords experience will win this battle, a good one to watch.

5/ Forwards, with Fielden, Coley and Paleaaesina some hard running forwards we need to ensure we can lay down the platform with our forwards like we did against Castleford. Hopefully Langleys continued form and Menzies class will show through. Scurton is still playing well and Lynch too so another good battle.

Just to add it will be Deacons first match against us so he will really be up for it and he really turned the game around vs Warrington a few weeks ago.

I think this will be a great game for neutrals and I think a score similar to 27-26, Orford drop goal

I'm hoping my recent predictions continue to be accurate as ever.

Bulls 18-32 Wigan.

Seriously I think Wigan have a bit too much for us in the backs and they have been bang on form so far. It'll take a mighty effort to get a win. I'll be happy with just a good performance.

Are my thoughts too really.

I can't see Wigan being able to keep the level of performance they've shown so far for too much longer. Hopefully a little complacency will creep in and we can jump all over it.

On the flip side, our lads should be really fired up for this one. The team that's top of the league, on our patch.....stranger things have hsppened!

Optomistic. I don't fear any team in Super League. If we play tought then there is absolutley no reason why we cannot pick up the two points here.

A scrappy win against Salford will put us in better shape mentally than Wigan trashing Cats I feel.

To be fair, Wigan are not too different in personnel to last season (other than Deacon) and we could have got a favourable result at home last year. I know they are playing well, and they probably should win but I wouldn't be surprised to see us run them close.

It will be our toughest test so far, thats for sure. I'm hoping for 100% effort, and there's no reason why we can't give them a game and even get the win.


I hope we take advantage of Phelps being out by constantly peppering Goulding with high balls as Roberts has dropped to full-back.

Deacon should get a great reception aswell.

I just hope they dont pepper our right side with high kicks because Pat Richards may have a field day. Other than that I'm pleased with our chances of 2 points.

If they do start doing that, switch Menzies to right centre, problem solved.

I think we're vulnerable to the kick to the wing on both sides. I hope the defence is ready for this and we don't see a repeat of tries conceded at Hudders and vs Cas where the line didn't seem to move to deal with the threat.

As Michael says Richards is a big threat so we need to be on the ball.

Any news on Sheriffe or on Platt, could do with one or the other.

Can't see us winning TBH Wigan are looking awesome at the moment but I think we can give them a game, my prediction Bradford 12-42 Wigan.

Sheriffe be alright for Friday but Platt he be not alright for Friday in it!

Bradford will beat Wigan on Friday in a closely fought contest. I think last Friday's result is good for us and I think Wigan are set for a shock and soon (they've peaked to early in my book as well).

If Wigan's pack lay a platform for Deacon then they'll be nothing we can do to stop the inevitable.

Somebody as to beat wigan why not us.

From a Wigan point of view, if Bradford are to beat us you'll have to be spot on defensively, so far this year are defense has been nothing short of superb thanks in part to are excellent control of the ruck.

Offensively like many of on here have pointed out Richards is a big threat against whoever we play, those thankful that Phelps is out may be in for a shock as McGuire believes he'll be fit for a return in this game, meaning Amos will return to the wing.

Finally, apart from the wire game, we've started matches extremely quickly racking up two or three tries in the opening ten minutes, so you'll have to start the match against us in a similar vein if your to hang with us.

Really looking forward to this one, but I'd have to make a score prediction of 28 - 12 in Wigan's favor.

As a Wigan fan, I hope they both play.
