Good or bad player I thought he was better than this, maybe he sees himself more of a coach in the future.

So despite the denials we were intrested.

Was in ever actually denied, or commented on, by the club? (Serious question).

The word used was "overtures" - guess that could mean anything though. I know (from the player) of at least one player about whom the club enquired, but that was as far as it ever got and the player never actually heard anything from the club. Just an enquiry to his agent as to possible availability, and despite probably being available. You can bet though that if or when that player moved or moves, the agent will have said or will say it was "despite interest from Bradford..."

That's one reason why I treat all rumours with considerable caution, to be honest.

phewww i'm glad he rejected us and god help York who'd want thorman as a coach he's a been a terrible player why would he make a good coach.

Regardless of what he was like as a player, the best players do not necessarily make the best coaches. Indeed, they often do not.

It keeps annoying me that whenever a potential signing for us comes up, Celtic are there aswell. Is that where we've fallen to?

Has it occurred to you...much may be agentspeak? The world and his dog knows Celtic and Bulls are the two clubs who have lost the most players, so they are the two clubs most likely to have vacancies? And an agent is paid to make it look like he is actually earning not stealing a living (hell, just look at what Caisley kept coming out with over Sam!) so put the two together and what do you get?

What does it say about us when Chris Thorman and Makail Aizue turn us down to play in the Championship.

I'd like to think we offered them both what they are worth (very little) and said Championship sides offered above and beyond their worth in order to catch what they would consider to be a pretty big signing.

or in aizues case we offered him a 1 year deal and he went for the longer 2 years fax offered.

well as the above posts prove, firstly don't believe all you read; and secondly don't read into what is reported - usually by lazy hacks keen on some kind of a story to justify their existence - what you THINK is being said. Read what's actually said and then decide what (if anything) it really says or proves.

doubt we did. just offering a scenario as to why a player might turn down a 'bigger' club to go play for a 'smaller' one.

FA has been spending a lot of time with various emergencies in A&E and tending to Mrs A who has broken a couple of ribs in a fall. But thanks for your concern.
