I feel like a complete and utter deserter tonight. I never miss a game home or away but tonight due to various reasons including not liking the saints Chavs that stand behind the away speccies, time being tight to get there, costing lots of money but most of all thinking we were going to get a good tonking.

I am throroughly ashamed of myself and would congratulate and thank all of the faithful fans that went to cheer the lads on.

I've gotta say, I'm gutted I couldn't go tonight. Up until last night, I was going, but due to circumstances beyond my control, plans changed.

Despite the fact that I know I couldn't avoid it, I still feel bad that I couldn't get there, and did even before the game. Would have loved to have been there for this match.

I have sufficiently abused the person whose fault it was that stopped me going!

Crap fans have to be Saints clapping and cheering when David was injured, shame on them!!

That is the first time i have heard a co-commentator say anything like that"Saints Fans Cheering".I can tell you at every game televised or not fans do cheer,(well the idiots do)!!!unless they are totally knocked out and don*t move,,so to single out Saints fans ain*t right..

I must take my hat off to the Bulls fans who made the trip tonight to Saints,,Don*t know exactly but Well done and i suppose the number will increase as the days go by but good luck to them ..

It was well worth the trip over, just got back. Still totally buzzing. There were not many Bulls fans there, probably double the number Wire brought to us though, so we might be crap, but we are not as crap as them!

A Saints fan got escorted out of the ground by the fuzz... he appeared to have been very abusive and managed to make a young girl supporting Bradford cry, big man!

Some little chavs were at the front of the Eddington end being idiots too, but they were noted by their absence at 80 minutes!

Hey, it's not a competition, and nobody has to go, it's apersonal choice.

For me, though, this is one of the finest feelings I've evr had in my life, and I'm sorry so many missed experiencing the same thing. You don;t get a second chance, you had to be there.

What a night!

Its nights like that when you find the real fans. The non booing fans. The fans that actually get behind the team and ralley the troops when things aren't going well. Its a shame that not as many fans went as usual but with a bit of luck that will kick start the season. As for the booing fans of last week, they can stay away. The negativity isn't needed one bit.

We thought we'd be thrashed so we cheered and sang anyway. There were only a couple of dozen of us but we sounded more like 2000. We cheered all through the game and I felt like I'd actually been on the field taking the tackles by the end!
I didn't see the last 5 minutes as I had my eyes shut, just waiting for the roar of the saints crowd as they scored the winner.
Happily it's recorded this time and I'm now watching the start of the programme where everyone is wondering how many saints will beat us by

Your fans may not have been very many - and they were very few (we were trying to figure out, actually, whether Quins bring more than you these days!) - but boy were they vocal! And so supportive of the team. So well done to those who did make the journey, which must have taken some resilience given your humiliation last week.

Bradford were a bit like a team reborn tonight. Typical! Couldn't you have kept your rebirth until next weekend instead?
