We've got another big game coming up this weekend against a Featherstone side that's given us trouble in the past. It's going to be a real test, but after last week's solid win, we should be feeling confident that we can carry that momentum forward. The Rovers are coming into the game after back-to-back wins against Batley and Widnes.

With Widnes playing Wakefield you would assume the Vikings will drop more points this weekend which could see us open up a slight gap between 4th and 5th place if we can secure a win!

The Bulls women's team will be kicking off at 12:00pm and the Academy team will be playing after the men's game at 5:15pm.

Disciplinary update:

Franklin Pele escapes a ban. Featherstone’s Jack Bussey will be banned for this fixture.

I hope history doesn't repeat. Whenever we have a chance to put some daylight between us and the chasing pack, we seem to wheel out our poorest performances. Let's hope lessons around pressure and game management are locked in.

I predict a close game. Fev seem to have improved lately and we're still putting in some inconsistent performances. Thrashing Whitehaven is one thing but Fev will be a different proposition.

Yeah this will be the game whether we have turned the corner. Fev have certainly tightened up defensively and we won't be able to run through them like Whitehaven. That phrase "game-management" will be key.

I would have still played Davies over Hallas anyway. Think Hallas has been OK, still poor discipline and gets involved in needless confrontations. Watched the highlights of Fev/Widnes and looked to be a bit of needle in that one. Think it will be a spicy game this week too.

Hoepfully the week off will do Davies good as thought he looked fatigued last few weeks. He's done some big minutes.

Sheffield have lost at home to Batley meaning if we can win on Sunday we go up to 3rd place.

Yep, it would be typical of Bradford to blow it. We've certainly become accustomed to it in big games.

Well another unexpected result. There's so many in the Championship this year, they're not even that unexpected. I'm sure most Bulls supporters have that nagging anxiety that'll we'll fall apart just when we're on the cusp of something..... But fingers crossed this weekend is different.

York just made tomorrow's match even more interesting getting the win over in France. Gives us the chance to close the gap with Toulouse to 1 point! What could possibly go wrong.

Massive game for both clubs as the table stands. I said a few weeks ago that 2nd is probably out of the question and realistically I suspect it still is. To have any chance we probably need to go unbeaten and there are plenty of banana skin ties still to come.

7 games remaining in the league, with a possible 9 or 10 games overall to improve on last year we are going to need to find some consistency. Time to step up our intensity.

Wonder if Toulouse's skinny squad is starting to catch up with them now. They get a decent advantage not participating in the cups (they've played around 2 months worth less of games than the Eagles) but I said when we reached the half way point we'll see what happens as they'll be a game every week for them. They'ere still naming near full strength line-ups, so if they pick up a few injuries as we approach the business end of the year, it's all to play for.
Feel if we slip up today it will feel like a pin in a balloon in terms of our season.

For me, with results going the way they have, this is our most important game of the season to date. Time to step up and see if we are up to it. Fingers crossed.

Masters of our own downfall today.

The amount of dropped ball in key positions gifted that game to Featherstone. 2 of their tries came from us dropping the ball in our own 10m area. Lilley hitting the post with a simple conversion also didn’t help. Farcical game management in the last 5 minutes.

Featherstone lost the arm wrestle and started with the niggle. We got sucked into it and lost our heads. Bottled it. Simple as that.

Nicely summed up. Very disappointing, but in no way surprising. We don't seem able to step up when it matters and I'm not really sure why. On paper the squad looks solid at Championship level but somehow we continue to fall short. The season isn't over yet. Hopefully onwards and upwards.

So many chances to win that game and time and again we coughed the ball up and handed possession in our half. EOC will be disappointed with some of the tries conceded as well, some soft defending at times.

I think overall the game probably deserved to be a draw but in the ended it was heavily influenced by the officials which is always disappointing. James Ford was on the pitch at HT confronting Worsley and his officials and he's got the rub of the green in that 2nd half with some controversial calls. The ball steal was the other side of the pitch to me but it seemed soft. Tafua he seems to enjoy sending off, once again you look at what went on in that game wonder how he has got to a sin bin especially at that point in the match.

But play smarter and we are never in a position where it costs us the match. Chalk that game off as another close game we gave failed to control and has proved costly.

I thought Worsley did alright TBH. He penalised Fev regularly for slowing down the PTB. He also dealt with the Bussey trip quickly.

That loss was mainly down to us dropping the ball too much. Their first two tries were down to our edge defence ball watching and Springer's try was helped by us not spotting the danger quick enough.

Holmes had a real off day with the bombs.

Despite all that if Lilley hadn't hit the post with a simple conversion we would've won.
