| Are we going to be summer-BASHED by the Panthers or will MD finally get a decent performance out of the squad? Discuss the game here.

| I really hope it's a Fax win if only for the joy of reading this forum after a bulls defeat. It keeps me royally entertained until the next game. It's obvious your lads have had a poor time of late but I don't see Saturday as a foregone conclusion for Fax at all. It will, I think, be a tight affair with Fax pulling away for a win in the last 20 minutes. Here's hoping.

| I think the disturbing question is does anyone care? I mean its 36-6 all day long isn't it. Remember thousands marching through Blackpool to the ground, and noisy as hell inside. Fast forward to 7 people limping through Headingly and an atmosphere like a library.
Perhaps a visiting fax fan could say whether they prefer a close win and plenty of banter. Or, as will happen, a foregone conclusion and Bradford fans who have given up.

You can't, hand on heart, be getting the thrill from coming here you'd like. You can see everyone has given up now so there's no banter.

| Tbh has a fax fan I take no joy in the failings of others , the game is built on rivalries and everyone needs a dance partner , let’s face it Bradford obviously have a confidence problem but the last 3 meetings have all been won and lost by literally by a few points . As we’ve seen with a lot of games this season a refs call or a moment of madness can quickly change the tide. I think it’s fair to say fax will be favourites but if they play like they did against London they could be in trouble.

Yep, that's how I see it. I'd take a one score victory here and now.

| We've got a fair bit worse since the last game vs Fax.
The game at home versus London showed we're miles off but Fax lost to them too so...
No, can't see past a Fax win by 30+.
Some Fax fans may be loving it but before long it won't matter to them in the same way that Leeds fans look on and pity us now.

| I wonder if there’ll be a hallas vs fairbank part 2 , whilst i acknowledge the players will be on tenterhooks based on the recent disciplinary decisions it would be very hard not to exact some kind of revenge, maybe a Brad Knowles / fairbank double team smash would suffice.

| I find it heart warming that people from the parochial backwaters like Halifax, Greater Manchester (you’d think Leigh would be their main rivals in the championship)
still want to come on here and rub it in - we’re clearly still a big name.
That said the panther socks will win this and continue to put pressure on the top two - question is by what score line?

Whilst I could see a team as unprofessional as Bradford doing something as stupid as that I can't see 'fax doing anything ore that racking up a cricket score and winding up squirrel nutkins p155ing themselves all the while...

| I've honestly stopped caring, I forgot there was even a game on Sunday until my sister reminded me later on, thought to myself "we've probably lost by a few anyway" checked the score and wasn't even annoyed that barrow rolled us. I'm numb to it all now apparently.

| We could.even beat them on a small pitch when they played a whole game with 12 men.
At least the rfl wont have to go far to borrow a cricket scoreboard

Must say a repeat of those handbags isn't exactly WW3. But kudos for trying to inject some enthusiasm into this fixture. You won't find much on here

| Not even watching it on TV. Off to the other halfs parents for a meal and the Liverpool vs Man City game. I’d never do this, but at the moment I’m struggling to care like many of you.

| Pressure on Fax. If they don’t put 50 on us they should be embarrassed
I’ll be there on Saturday. Hopefully we can enjoy some banter and a beer because it will be worse to see sympathetic looks instead.
I’ve never been a fan of magic / summer bash weekends. We’ve lost the vast majority and had some of our worst showings at these events. That ‘performance’ by Jamie Foster at full back vs giants for example was a horror show.
On a side note, I’ve been pleasantly surprised that GF sr has kept his cool with his son on the pitch. Could be something to watch out for if Fax start rocking up a score and decide to roughhouse a bit.
Either way this is going to be a bit of a walk over for Fax

Be funny to see Senior get smacked and Junior run in throwing haymakers haha! In all seriousness, if a grown man is being a knob to your son (who’s not an adult) you’re going to react. I’d hope the Fax players are a bit more mature than trying to be dirty to a 17 year old.

| Is Pickersgill getting a game at Fev? If he isn't it'd be good if we could get him back till the end of the season at least.

No bites . Not even that odd one that drinks all the weird beer.
I was going to reply saying as a socialist I think it's great that the top three positions in the league are taken by clubs from old pit villages. It's great that these places are on the up, even if none of them are in Yorkshire - Leigh and Halifax are in Greater Manchester and Featherstone are in the 1970's.
