Think the last one of a similar incident was Leon Pryce on Sam Burgess. Leon got 3 games if I remember rightly. Think that will be Flanagans Bulls career over. Hope to see Doyle get the nod Sunday.

Yes Leon got 3 matches for the attack on Sam Burgess's nads. Why Flanagan might get 8+ for the same offence is anyone's guess. Both players had disciplinary records.

The Gorgeous George fan club have gone very quiet on the Facebook pages. To my mind despite his much admired enthusiasm, he is a complete liability. I still haven't forgiven him for his premature try celebration at York at the start of last season, and was utterly disgusted by obscene gestures he was making towards the Workington bench in the play off game. This season we've had the sin binning for the trip which almost cost us the game, and now this balls up! Definitely time to get rid.

But he could gave been banned for 2 games and still been able to play at wembley. The fact he wasnt banned at all shows he wasnt guilty of anything other than maybe being a bit of a prick

Well JK has named him for the game at Barrow. With the play-offs all but gone, I'm pretty speechless.

I've backed him in the past and said he will help us more than he will hinder us, but sorry he needs to go after that act. No place in the game for out and out housery!!!

Kear is pretty much condoning his behaviour by selecting him and doesn't set a great example to the younger lads waiting to get game time.

His actions were disgraceful and he deserves a lengthy ban. I believe that every team needs a Flanagan to be a pain to the opposition but George has overstepped the line one too many times for my liking. He's been fantastic, but also a liability. I'd expect Sunday to be his final game for the club.

Something tells me it won’t be the last time we see the name George Flanagan in Bulls colours.

If Kear gives him a new contract he needs his head checked. Flanagan is a league 1 standard player.

Flanagan will always play when fit as he is Kear’s mate from way back. I feel sorry for Hallas, he made the position his own when Flanagan was injured and got better every week. He should have kept that position as he was playing well. When Flanagan first got injured we started to win our games. When he came back from injury lose our games and when he got banned we won them both - Toulouse and Widnes I think. He came back into the team, undeservedly after his ban, Kear moved Hallas to prop to accommodate him and we havnt won one since. Dunno if he’s bad luck or whether he really affects the team when he comes on?
