Very early days, but some worryingly familiar signs.

For example - the page that announces that Season Tickets are now available has.... zero information about the cost of tickets.

I'm no marketing guru - but really, if you're going to have a page on a website about season tickets, then it's not difficult to actually put that information on there - especially if you feel that you're promoting something that offers good value.

We all know that the club has to improve both on and off the field - they could start by getting the simple stuff right

I thought the idea of it not being live was to get all the content sorted then it can all go up all at once and be all professional.

The buggering about with it suggests the usual RL "seat of the pants" way of doing things.

Hopefully not indicative of the rest of the back office set up.

Apparently, "temporary credit card facilities", are in operation today, and they are hoping it will be permanent tomorrow. Some things are moving then. And no HUGE announcement..

There's other information missing too. I've attempted to enquire via e-mail (since the article about season tickets says to e-mail this address for more info), but it's nearing 24 hours now since I sent it and I've received no reply. I'm kind of against phoning companies that I'm trying to give money to and paying for the phone call too, so I don't want to have to call their 0844 number.

They will no doubt be busy, but I was expecting to have had an e-mail reply by now if I'm honest. Even if it's a "we don't know, we'll find out" answer.

I too would like to give them some money but I can't be ar5ed if it's going to be a hassle.

Season ticket prices are now up on the site

I was up in the shop this morning to get my season ticket, and in fairness they were pretty busy.

Since I got home though, I've realised I need to speak to them again. I don't really want to have to trail all the way up there, but they didn't reply to the e-mail after 2 days of waiting, and I've tried calling them 5 times now with no answer. Once I left a message for them to call me back, which as yet hasn't happened. It costs 7p a minute to dial the 0844 number and you do connect with that bloody "Run with the Bulls" hold music for a bit, before it invites you to leave a message.

I can't afford to keep ringing the number if it's not getting answered. The 7ps add up eventually. In my case, I have my season ticket now. If someone is getting that same experience when trying to call about theirs, I can't say I'd blame them for giving up.

They really need someone answering the phones and e-mails.

I should clarify, i don't mind any of it as a negative on the staff themselves. I've been in the shop 3 times today and the staff have been excellent. They're just too busy and are struggling to handle the numbers.
Probably a good thing for the club that it's as busy as it is, but I fear that not being able to get through on the phones and suchlike may end up putting some people off.
They look like they could do with some extra relief staff in just until it calms down a bit.

If you can't find an alternative number to 08 numbers, there's an app called WeQ4U which will try and find a free version of the number and call using that. Also, if you're in a queue it lets you set the phone to alert you when the person on the other line becomes available so you don't have to sit listening to inane elevator music.

I've heard of that app. Does it actually work ok without any hidden charges?
