Out of only 23 games, we are starting with 9 defeats, what's the point of that? Which players will sign up for that? But seems to be RFL preferred option.

Or start 0 points in Champ1. I would go with this, if only because the RFL don't want to do it.

With zero liability and a handful of ex-employees (playing and non-playing) available immediately, this may be the best time to reform.

Quicker we can get a new club going, more chance we have of re-signing the youngsters.

The statement from the RFL is the one thing i'm waiting for, I want to know what their intentions are for a professional club in Bradford.

I'll be surprised if this idea of re-forming within a fortnight isn't a total disaster.

It depends on what the bidders wanted to do in the first place.

Now Green is out of the way, there's the ground, the RFL lease and whatever the proposals which RFL reportedly agreed to. Whatever those are, they can all be done.

So any bidder would need to re=form a brand new club, and get on with whatever they were planning, but will need to literally start from scratch.

OTOH they no longer have to make any offer to the administrator so in that sense they are better off.

If anyone wants to pick up the Bulls club name and mantle then however they must face a penalty from the RFL and that should in fairness to Omar include no money for a year. Only a completely different club with no Bulls continuity or ties could evade penalties from the RFL. Otherwise going bust becomes a way out of debts and disadvantages other competitor clubs who weren't spending more than they could afford.

Why take a 12pt penalty for a club that no longer exists? Plus, as someone said, the hardest fixtures for a team with no players?

Start again in championship 1 on zero. That's the only option. We would get relegated anyway with that handicap.

Come on mate. Frank's just a guy with a mate and he's never pretended anything else. We collectively put the mark of believability on him.

And frankly, I still believe him. There have been several bids that were acceptable to all but one person, and more than enough noise about there being money behind them from other parties too.

It turns my stomach to think that I once shook Marc Green's hand and thanked him for saving the Bradford Bulls.

I don't feel comfortable with reforming in the championship on -12. It will rightly vex all the other clubs off. But we've no got a competitive squad to try and avoid relegation. It won't be made up of the current players. It will be a last minute put together hash job with regular beatings and fans will continue to walk away.

I would rather we drop down to L1 and reform and build up and start a brand new journey together.

Think we may have to prepare ourselves for an almighty backlash...

Sorry but I think this might be my last post.

I'm gutted, spent my life growing up watch this team. Unless there is something special to convince me otherwise (i.e. the team and Rohan are kept on) then that's me done.

A phoenix Bradford is not the real Bradford. Only that squad and coaching staff are and without them it would be like switching to a completely new team. Not one I'm currently willing to do.

Maybe I'll change my mind once I've had time to think, but in all honesty I'm that gutted I don't see any way back.

If this particular bull's club is dead and a new one rises how can it be penalised with a points deduction.
I really hope they keep you in the championship with a joint statement from the other club's confirming that they agree with this decision for the good of the league

For the first time in a long time, I can't counter act the sicky feeling with humour. I don't know what's gonna happen in the coming weeks, but this feels utter turd.

Personally, if I was forming a new club, I'd move away from the place as it is too costly. I'd probably look for a ground share with a near neighbour maybe PA or City? As to training facilities - what's the deal with the Tong setup? If it is an asset of the old club the administrator will be looking to unload, might get that cheap.

There is no way we can reform the club with just over a month until the start of the season. The only way it will be possible is if the RFL approved bidder was waiting in the wings until the club was liquidated and debt free to come and pick up the pieces?
