Yesterdays depleted squad should be strengthened by the additions of Nas, Donaldson and Kaufusi. Jordan Baldwinson and Mason Tonks are also set to make their debuts after signing from the NZ Warriors.

My journey into the 'new season' starts early Wednesday...with an away game in the sun. We have a pack, but I still have to pack., I/we will cheer the guys on. I/we may very likely have a dry sherry or two in Spain and France.... what true Europeans we Bulls fans really are! COYB's!!!

Looking better with the two new recruits and getting a few injured troops back, or am I just being over hopeful?

So that's Nas and Donno back in contention. Looking a bit more like a team now

Diskin & Walker & Wood all miss out. Diskin & Walker must be carrying injuries, Wood because we actually have some forwards so don't need as many backs in the squad.

Baldwinson, Nas & Kaufusi replace those 3.

Diskin missing is a big blow to our chances IMO. We look a lot better in stints where he's on pitch as opposed to obrien who's still learning.

Yeah, we've few enough leaders on the pitch. We really need Gale to step up and be the leader he's supposed to be this weekend

Bit of a difficult one this as we have a few players who all play in the same position.

Kaufusi is available for wakefield game. We got him for 4 games rather than 4 weeks.

So we get two back from injury and lose another two. Just to keep it all nice and even!

I hope we can work out a longer deal for him, he's really provided some punch to our forward line

Thats good then mat, depends if they rate him as highly as Mullaly he starting getting some form and hudds took him back.

Least our front line is looking better.

Think one of articles mentioned Fakir,Blythe and Ferguson could be fit for wakefield game too.

Pretty much what I would go with. Although swap Sidlow with Nas and Pitts with Addy. Hope we actually play the young ones and not start playing silly beggars and playing Second Rowers at stand off, stand off at full back just because they are "more experienced" Play the young hooker at hooker.

Hopefully can keep Kaufusi longer. Hudds are winning and don't have any injuries at moment.

Baldwinson is definitely playing on Saturday (he confirmed on twitter) so I guess that means Mellor misses out. I'm in two minds who should play out of George/Henry/Arundel, I don't think there's much between any of them really.

I'm not sure I'd play young Conroy against a very physical Catalan side, I'd go with another back rower and let Addy go to dummy half when O'Brien is off the field.

If we go that route then it pretty much means Gaskell has to play in halves and kear at FB. You don't want three players switching position mid match to accommodate one substitution. Think I tend to agree with you though. Think gaskells more effective at FB than SO but o'brien and conroy seem to have pretty similar styles and at putting addy in mix would shake things up a little and give Catalans something else to think about..

Did you watch Gaskell at FB last week? He was awful! Dropped two high kicks and Broughton ran round him like he wasn't there. Addy doesn't work at hooker. Never has, never will. Give Conroy a go! Can he be any worse than what we have seen from others this year? I bet Conroy won't miss as many tackles as Addy will in the game.

Pack issues aside, I'd love to see Gaskell and Pryce up against each other at stand off. Lee reminds me of Leon in his style so I hope the Bull can step up.

Also, if (when) we get relegated, I can see Leon Pryce joining us for a stint in the ChampionSuperLeagueship 2 thing.

Conroy can't be any worse than that midget Catalans will bring on to replace Pelissier. You know, the son of the chairman, which has absolutely no correlation to him being in the side, honest

Guasch isn't in the 19 man squad this week.

But Baile is, yay! Henry may aswell jump into the mighty Frenchman's back pocket now!!

Does Millward even look at team sheets or last meetings between teams when doing his predictions or does he just roll out his bulls will get thrashed prediction every week?.
