Heard this a couple of days ago, and Franny hints at it in a Sky interview today.

Are the points re-instated while the appeal goes on, as that could be important psychologically for the boys, or do we get them back when successful?

Who knows maybe a successful appeal allows everyone to save face over the he said, she said shenanigans over the last few days, but surely those kinds of deals don't get done, do they?

Would imagine any appeal would only be after someone bought the club and actually paid of a portion of the debts rather than just having a plan to pay the debts.

Well I'd imagine any prospective owner will have enquired about appealing the points deduction.

If your appeal is unsuccessful can the RFL deduct more points or fine the club?

I would of thought the RFL will have a rule that's states any appeal could result in a increase of points deducted

I think that rule will be on page 765 of the RFL book of rules(and only they have a copy)

Knowing the RFL, if they decide to give points back they won't give them back to us - but they will share them out to the other clubs.

Who is going to appeal it NOW? The administrator? Is that his concern?
The deduction was for going into admin, which the bulls did so thats four or six points.
If the new owners once sought offer to pay the existing creditors from the old business i could see the RFL reducing that to four and think that would be fair in the circumstances.
I think that is well within the rules.

Regarding penalty points for admin.
As i understand it the RFL need only administer a four point penalty for a club working with its creditors, so i guess reducing the penalty by two points (if that was the case with any new owner) would be within the rules.
