| Nope not Van Halens Panama. It wasn't an out and out heavy rock number. Just before both Teams came out.

| Fallen empires by snow patrol, and the walk out song is called Follow the Road by a band called The dunwells. Any feedback on stuff like this is always well received, thanks.

| I've got some feedback for you: stop playing stupid music when each player is announced. It was bad enough last season but it goes on twice as long this season. Why on earth is Heath L'Estrange (I think) "Bringing Sexy Back"? It makes no sense.
Love the Sandman entrance - although it seemed to have violins this weekk for some reason.
Pantera's Hostile would be beter though......

| Heath has a song by the motly crew which he chose as did 95% of the players. I understand its not to everyone's liking and it's impossible to please everyone. (Bringing sexy back, IIRC is Keith Lulia, again, chosen by the man himself) I agree that the lengths of the jingles are longer and are been looked at.
The enter sandman entrance is hopefully part of a campaign to get the fans involved in the team entrance and had violins in it when we used it for the first game of the season, thanks for the fewdback.

| Ino last year it was thunderstruck by acdc, but enter sandman is a better choice imo, I don't like the wants after each player but if there are sub 10k fans there we need something to fill the gap between each name and cheering won't cut it

Having just looked into your suggestion of Pantera's Hostile, I'm not really thinking its appropriate for our family friendly audience. But thanks for the suggestion!

| Fair enough (but it sounds like you should let the players get on with playing rugny because they're better at that than picking music), but I'm not a youngster so I don't suppose you're trying to appeal to me.
On a serious note Master of Puppets or For Whom The Bell Tolls (think you have used this) would be good for entrance music.

| I believe the Metallica track is from their live album with the San Francisco Symphony. The album is called 'S&M' for anyone who's interested.

For me, its a big improvement on last year.
Only thing is that I wish it was a bit louder. The sound in general seems to be quieter including the match announcer. Could you possibly crack it up to 11 (or maybe bring in some more speakers)?

| In my opinion, Odsal is probably one of the very few grounds in Rugby League where the announcements and music are audible without any delay. It may not be like that in every section of the ground but it's certainly good enough on the pop side above the dugouts.

The way the sound captures in the stand makes it far too loud! I'm not an old fart, but having to shout to someone two seats away to have a conversation pre-match is annoying. And seeing young kids and older supporters jumping out of their skin whenever a song is played isn't fun to watch!!

Lol, again noted! The difficulty is when the levels are ok in the stand the terracing is not covers adequately and when you cover the terracing it's too loud in the stand, it's all to do with the acoustics of of having only part of the stadium under cover. The feedback we have received from the weekend is that the sound in the stand was better this week and was clearer than what we've had before but people on the terracing have complained that they couldn't hear what was been said by Steve.
The other difficulty is that acoustics work differently for a populated stadium than an empty stadium so when sound checks are done levels are appropriate and then when the fans arrive they absorb a lot of the sound.reducing levels. It's a learning curve but all we can do is take appropriate constructive feedback and try to adjust appropriately.
Sound levels are a fairly contentious issue and we will never please everyone due to the wide spread of our audience, what we are trying to do is get the best fit we can.
Thanks again for your comments. We are listening.

| You could do with looking at the speaker system in the Coral stand too, We were sat right in front of Franny when he gave his after match summary, and couldn't understand a word.

| I'm not having a dig (as such) but why do you feel the need to play a song for each player when reading the team out?
I've never understood this at all.

Agree entirely with what you've said, and thanks for the response, the first I've had since I've emailed one or two people at the Bulls. I can see why it would be a techical issue, and completely agree with the sound dampening element, when it's just a few of us and Steve Bailey first comes out to that thundery-swooshy noise, christ on a bike it's like being hit by a truck!
I've no idea how the sequencing works when it comes to the speakers and electronics, perhaps halve the number by the stand and double up on the terracing? Anyway, carry on with the good work.
edit: and the loud PA also must come across badly on the radio broadcasts...
