Just a warning to fans setting over to Hull the M62 is closed in both directions near the M18 interchange. Long queues are forming. Anyone know an alternative route?

@OfficialBullsRL: Supporters are advised to leave the M62 at J35 and take the A19 via Selby and Goole. We're hearing that the M62 will be shut for a while.

guys i would seriously think about going onto the A1 south to the M18 near doncaster then M18 back to the M62. Its a fairly long way round (may add half an hour) but at least you will move that way. there are more local diversions at the A19 junction (34) but the route is on a single a road through villages so it could be slow. the m18 route will be at normal speeds (hopefully)

the bradford team bus is caught up in the chaos, as are some of the west yorks based FC players

I'm fully expecting this game to be heavily delayed as i'm informed that the tailbacks are horrific.

Is there anything in teh rules that say a team must arrive on time for the game?

Caught the traffic news just before setting off and we were already running a bit late so decided to abort. Sounds like it was probably the right call on the travel front. Hope the fans and players caught up in the chaos make it on time.

Kick off delayed according to Sky. No time given but I'd assume it'll be 8.30 or 8.45.

Sky sports news saying our team coach is getting police escort to ground. Expected arrival in next 10-15 mins or so. Could affect hull more as 6-7 of their players are stuck in several cars. Apparently some are injured players so their swapping between cars to get the fit players in one car and police aware trying to get them throught the congestion. Don't think there'll be a problem with them getting to ground but could affect their warmup and mental preparation. At least our lads are all together.

). Im making the short trip from Leeds to Cas and im not convinced how easy that will be, never mind a 60 mile trip.

Because according to the Hull fan in front of us in the ticket office refund queue, they trained this morning and had no reason to return to West Yorkshire, when they had a game the same day.

So, players live an hour or so away and finish training about 8 hours before the game? I think I'd go home too! Have you not been to Hull much?

That's different. Injuries happen in warm ups/training. How often does a tanker crash on the M62 causing players to be late?

I can understand why the fans who have made the trip are upset, but seriously, this probably wont happen again! It's the 1st time I can remember a game being postponed due to a tanker crash that closes the whole 6 lanes of the motorway.
