Paid the pledge on my maestro card the process is confusing not anywhere as clear as it should be. Can the board shoot themselves in the foot any more? Maybe someone should pledge some steelies.

It is confusing. I wonder how hard it could be to make a "Pay Pledge Now" button. But it's the Bulls after all, simple is not a word in their dictionary!

It's not that complicated, it's just the same as buying a ticket online. The problem is that it isn't a ticket so it doesn't quite fit into the model for that. It'll ask you the kind of questions you'd expect for tickets like ground admission or delivery options.

I chose the collect ground ticket option. Jeez.

I've just pledged and paid, £50 but it's all I can afford at the minute, as I'm currently lacking employment. I think I may go and lie in a darkened room now!

I get as far as confirm and the site comes up with internai error 500, its not the Clubs fault its the company they're using. Trouble is you don't know whether it's been accepted, will have to phone my CC co in the morning to check

I tried yesterday and got the same error message, I'll try again tonight, I guess you'll receive an e-mail to confirm that payment has been made

i suspect it won't have got through but its best to check your cc provider and it will be easier?? to phone in if the problem is due to being swamped by people wanting to pay in.

It didn't go through so spoke to Bulls Office and explained the problem it apparently is happening with some versions of Explorer. I use IE9. so paid over the phone!

I paid on-line, using Firefox if that's really relevant, and didn't find it a problem. You do have to select a stand, but you are told at the top to select ground.
A bit clunky? Well, yes but whilst I've seen better, I've also seen worse and the vast majority of people who normally use on-line payment shouldn't have any bother with it.

To confirm again, you do get an email with an attachment giving full details of your payment and "order completed" on it.

For those that can afford, can I suggest that you pay by debit card rather than credit card.

Usually, (and I can't be certain for the club here) debit card transactions are not charged by the bank, whereas credit card transactions are - usually at 2.5%.

This would mean that £100 on a debit card gets the club £100, but on a credit card gives £97.50 to the club and £2.50 to (probably) RBS.

Apologies if I am out here, but this is usually standard practice with card payments.

Just coughed up for my pledge and the money I raised from my fundraising at work. Apparently it's chaos over there, which I can only see as being positive. I asked the woman on the phone if there was any info about general progress toward the other half million - apparently she knows an expensive suit when she sees one. Make of that what you will.

Just paid 350 quid the old fashioned way (cash) no reciept which felt a bit odd she said she could write me one out if i wanted but there is no automated one printed.

I was given this club as a gift and I'd like to return it.

Honestly, I hope they have more important things to be doing right now than chatting on the phone for 20 minutes to a random supporter

I too paid cash and had to ask for a receipt, which was cheerfully given, but handwritten. Automated receipt would have saved the lady some time, on what is hopefully a busy day
