| Received my letter but can't find a link on the website to pledge. Anybody else found it? For those that have not received theirs yet a brief summary is: 10K = £90, 12K = £75, 15.5K = £55. As a sweetener the first 3K to pledge get the guaranteed price of £75.

| Sending a flyer like this out, then not setting your website up on the day it lands?
Not the greatest marketing I've ever seen and following the letter after the Warrington game........

| Friend just text me to tell me that. I've not had owt yet.
I'm guessing that they weren't planning on having the letters arrive today given the official announcement isn't until tomorrow.
Same goes for the website.

| New official pledge target is 12000. Although they have also mentioned 15501 and the possible prices. They will adjust the prices pro-rata if we are short.
Pledges to be in by 18th Sept. Tickets to be paid for by 31st Oct
Terracing summarised above.
Main stand:
10000 - £130
12000 - £115
15501 - £95
They may have moved the goalposts on age range as well. I always thought u8's were free but they are saying 0-5 yrs free and 6-16 £45
And they are doing the Red,Amber,Black 5 & 10 year deals again.
They acknowledge we were short on the football pitch this year and "solemnly promise to work relentlessly to bring us a team we can be rightly proud of"

| Wow. So even if we beat last year's pledge total (which will take some doing) the price has gone up regardless.
I'm not even considering the 15k price because that will never realistically happen.
We're looking at £90 season tickets next season I feel, a nice 50% rise in cost. Great strategy there guys

I am by no means an apologist for the club but I think that this goes to show what a bargain price this years price was.
Looking at next year we would be looking at paying £90 for 14 matches or approx £6.50 per game. Still a great bargain. On match day prices it is the equivalent to pay for one match and get two free.

No doubt it's still a good deal, but how the hell is Peter Hood going to put a positive spin on a 50% price hike?
Those targets are unrealistic, surely he can see that.
We were also told last year that the strategy was financially viable. Hell some of us even spent some time attempting to justify the pricing structure to supporters of other clubs who scoffed at the whole thing. So they either got their sums wrong, lied to us or have gotten greedy in 2012. Take your pick.

| Well the 15.5 looks a pretty impossible target given the season we have just had. We haven't signed anyone yet that makes you think we will see us storming back towards the top 6 next year. Still superb value though, you cannot argue at a season ticket at the very highest price of £90. Most people will not think twice of buying a couple of video games for the same price for a season of RL.
The 5/10 year may well turn out to be the best bet for those seeking bargain prices for the long term. It will be interesting to see how the club market it this year, retaining the existing 11k certainly isn't a given.

| Can't believe the new pledge website isn't set up yet. 1st 3000 get terrace for £75 regardless of numbers. Only way it looks like you can pledge now is to text. Do you think that will now be set up to record what number pledge you are?

As someone else said its pretty obvious that the pledge doesnt officially launch till tomorrow and website will probably go live then. Fact that not everyones got letters suggests pretty strongly that they werent planned to arrive til monday after announcement tomorrow. got my letter but partner hasnt got hers yet. Maybe if someone from club reads this thread they will enable the web site early.
hoppy- family pricing for 2 adults + 1 child is £190 terrace or £275 main stand based on 12000 pledges.

| As I've said earlier. I don't think the club planned for the mailings to hit today.
I would imagine everything is lined up to be ready to go from half time tomorrow.
As for the price hike? Yeah, it's a big ask, but it's a huge cash boost for the club upfront for the start of the season which is important.
Clearly that was needed last year and again this year in terms of setting budgets and sorting signings.
We're still the cheapest season tickets in the league. Will we get the 15k? Possibly that's a bridge too far. If we'd made it further in the cup or were higher in the league then yeah you might have pulled in a few more part-time supporters to part with some cash and buy a ticket. But on the back of another season of mediocrity? It's going to be a hard, hard sell for the club.
I don't know the financial workings of the club, but given how this season has gone, it might have been better for the club to look at taking a hit to the pocket for 2011 and freeze the prices as they are as long as they get the pledge numbers again.
Being frugal with money may have it's place in sport and to put the club on a sound financial footing, however, if you look at a team like Arsenal, their board has been frugal over the last few years which has corresponded with the fact they've failed to win any silverware over the same period.

| Don't see how this is the "Pledge Plus" that Andrew Bennett spoke about in the fans forum at the start of the year. Can't see us hitting 12k either to be honest. Although last years price was a bargain there was a lot of optimism regarding a new broom under Potter, quite a few new players and the end of the McNamarra reign.
To be honest, floaters who signed up last year with the hype won't be sucked in as easily as they were. I hope we hit 12k but seriously doubt we'll hit 10k adult pledges. As performances have tailed off this year the number visibly on the terracing has dropped considerably from the start of the year.
Still no marquee signing, players not household names, no real light at the end of the tunnel in terms of Odsal being redeveloped.
I'm a bit glass half empty at the minute.
Did the club want the cash paying that early last year too? Wonder what cash flow is like at the club........

| Hope its either a typo or cock-up.
Premier Club @ 10,000 pledges = £225
Premier Club @ 12,000 pledges = £320
Premier Club @ 15,501 pledges = £170
Why are there no details of concession prices? other than "prices to be set based on Target achieved"
This may well deter those fans who got a concession last year from re-pledging until they know the score.

| I'm sure its pretty obvious to you that the pledge hadn't gone live yet. Simple fact is that I received a letter this morning asking me to pledge and when I followed instructions on how to do so the facility isn't there. Nowhere in the leaflet does it state a start date or time. The letters were posted by the club regardless of how quick Mr postman was. Doesn't seem a complicated thing to either state when it goes live in the leaflet or have it ready for when letter arrives.

| Interesting responses so far. People complaining about 50% hike in prices but as the literature says if we can get 15k supporters then it will actually cost £55, a £5 cut on last year. It should also be said that the idea of a season ticket was that if you go to every match it will work out cheaper than paying each week. Only two years ago you would only get the equivalent of 3 free matches per year if you bought a season ticket. Now we are being offered 9 free matches and there are still complaints about it being more expensive than last year. (It's akin to the joke about the man finding a wage packet on the floor and complained about the amount of tax taken off).

| Other thing to consider is that the more money club has coming in the more it has available to spend on players and also ground developments. Think a price rise was inevitable really as this years price was a real bargain and orobably priced unrealistically low to attract back the stay away fans. Looking at this years pricing I'd guess 12k is the real pledge target. The 15k figure is only mentioned to demonstrate that the price will continut to fall after the pledge target is reached, something which didnt happen last year. If it ends up being £75 then personally I think its a real bargain. I won't mind if its £90 as its still a significant saving on the old season ticket pricing structure and still a big saving on walkup prices.

| Absolutely nutty. One year the Bulls sell season tickets at laughably giveaway prices, only to the get next year's still-pretty-damn-cheap-and-possibly-cheaper tickets slammed as a "50% price hike"!
Look, the Bulls did us all a favour last year, in trying (and succeeding) to salvage something and unfeasibly create a feelgood factor from the wreckage of the playing season. The fans responded and took advantage. Where in the script were we ever expected to permanently give bargain basement season tickets away? Do any of you seriously think that as a mid- to long-term business strategy, that would work?
If Tesco sell butter for one week on a BOGOF basis, then at the end of the offer, the same idiots would be calling it "a 100% price hike". It's not. It was a temporary bargain and if you like it, take advantage of it.
I wouldn't mind, if the Bulls had put the season tickets back up to 2009 levels, even THAT would not be a "price hike" - they would still be cheaper than 2009 in real terms. But they're not. They're still offering some pretty damn cheap tickets. Buy them - don't buy them - your choice - but stop trying to make out they're not still a bargain - they so are.

People shouldn't complain about the price rise really. To the hardened Bulls fan who go to every home game its fantastic value. Even to the fans with other commitments outside rugby it gives them the opportunity to pick and choose which games they can attend and still save money. However, I think we'd all be surprised how many tickets where sold to people who aren't massive Bulls fans. 4 of my friend have told me this morning that they won't be buying next year for whatever reason.
The price rise doesn't bother me as I'll be there anyway but please don't assume that everyone who bought last year will feel the same as you. I know several people who bought tickets planning to go to a few games but only ended up going to a couple. Not good value to them so the price rise does affect some.

| Only way we will get anywhere near 10k again is if we pull a marquee signing out the bag, which i very much doubt will happen. 7 or 8k tops for the pledge after yet another bad season.
