| WLWLWL.......WLWLWL. This is all i seem to ever see with bulls results. Very frustrating. I unfortunately didnt get to go to hull tonight but i was listening to it on the radio so correct me if im wrong if you was there.
We sounded like we started very brightly and was doing some gud stuff, but to be honest every time hull got the ball they sounded like they was going to score? not good enough for me. We dont help ourselves, everygame piggy backing opposition into our half inviting them to attack. Sibbit? well like ive said from day one... shocking! he sounded like he had yet ANOTHER HOWLER! How many times does he have to have a rubbish game to be dropped for a promising youngster like bateman? it must be a real kick in the teeth for bateman to be performing so well yet be dropped for sibbit who is absolutely garbage. The penalty machine. Oh and the sin binning? ill say no more! Was a extreme worry most of the trys was scored down the left wing? by the sound of it we just seem to not have the quality to finish these sort of games! Not happy at all. I feel more for the fans who made the trip over to be yet again leaving disapointed by leaving a game we should have won.

| Yeah we could have won the game but this kind of a rollocking is not what the team need. We need to keep the faith, we are a new team. Keep supporting the lads and once we find some consistency we can get on a roll because we have the talent and the management. Don't be looking to criticise just give them your support.

| I dont criticise my team i just try to point out obvious things like playing people like sibbit when theres young player like bateman who deserve a chance. Im sick of seeing players like sibbit giving away silly penalties away and making the lads work double time

| If it was up to Bulls1989 we'd play our 20's side.
There has to be a blend between youth and experience. Olbison, Whitehead, Donaldson, Burgess, Ainscough is enough for 1 game I think?
Not denying Sibbit was poor, but you cant just expect a 16 year old to come in and perform in a team already stretched.

Bateman will get his chance. Do you think it would be wise to have 4 very young backrowers in the side at the same time? If Elima was fit it would be different, but you need experience in the side (I admit, he was poor today too)

| Staffbull I do go to the games " muppet " which is why I can comment. I didn't go tonight for work reasons but on the radio it spoeared sibbit was poor again. When s game is in the balance the last thin you want is sibbit giving silly penalties and getting sent off for 10. I understand what your saying lads but I fed up of playin underperforming players like sibbit when batemans playing very well

Like I keep saying he'll get his chance - but it's better to let him wait. It would do him no good getting bashed constantly by players as good as O'Meley & Fitzgibbon.
Let him wait and when he's finally released it really will be like releasing a Bull from its pen. Just trust that Potter know the right time

| Who or what is not good enough?
Jesus wept it's only round nine and we've just been edged out by a Hull FC side who we're playing to save their coach from the sack.

| If anyone considers anyone other than Hargreaves being MOM for the bulls then I know sweet FA about rugby league despite having played for Dudley Hill and a host of other clubs for years in the seventies and eighties.
Burgess has potential but he is finding the pace of the game a little tough at the moment but I reckon he will be a force to be reckoned with in time. Never a man of the match candidate in a million years though.
As for Herbert I reckon L'estrange will do a better job than him. He was gash as was Sibbitt. Ainscough was tonight too.
Koppy had a poor game and Diskin didn't set the world on fire either.L'estrange was unusually subdued. I reckon that if we had a full strength pack we would have turned this poor Hull side over comfortably and a few bulls players ought to be scratching thier heads as to whether they really deserve to be in a Bradford Bulls team.
Having said that I am certain with the likes of Elima, Langley, platt, raynor and scuton in our team we would have won this match comfortably.
In addition if we had had Menzies playing we would have won this match with the team bar one we had tonight.
Whoever decided to release Menzies needs there head testing!

| The squad is still lacking in real quality, but recruitment this year was always about adding depth, plus they didn't seem much quality available in the winter anyway especially In the Halves. Someone mentioned it's only round nine. Isnt it round ten when you can judge a side?
Anyway, I'll take WLWLWLWL over LLLLLLLLL from last year any day. I prefer away days mind, so a couple of wins on road would be nice.

Tha lad is obviously Johns mate. I disagree though(sort of), getting shown how to play by players like Fitzgibbon and O'Meley might hurt at the time, but in the long run they are gonna learn a lot more from the experience of it. Ogre and Fitz will both tell you that they have been battered to smittheriens by quality backrowers and props in thier early days(and later days) and look at them now.
Olbison, Donaldson and Whitehead will have learned a lot from tonight.

Usually, it works out that by round 10 the position which a team is in is where they are likely to end up at or around come the end of the season. But that's just a rule of thumb as some clubs have a burst of end of season form either due to getting a new coach or getting back players who've missed out through injury.

Richard Moore has a cracking CV but I don't rate his chances of coaching Wigan.

| I really belive we need to start signing some real quality, weve gone for a larger squad this year, but i think we have good enough juniors to cover our senior players. If we want to get back to the top we need to sign quality, take a leaf out of Huddersfield and Warrington's book, Monaghan, O'Donnell, King, Fa'alogo ect qaulity players make quality sides. I think our fans over rate SOME of our senior players, when in reality they are nothing more than average.

It's also true that quality teams attract better players. When the cap is tight and there are many clubs competing for the same signatures, the hope, maybe expectation, of a pot or two is always going to be a big incentive to guys like the players you mention. Sadly, full cap or not, that is one thing we can't offer at the moment.

Funnily enough, around this time last year, weren't knocking on the top four, until the beginning of May when Mr. Orford got injured and took his leave?
Not that I'd change last year's team for this (apart from Steve Menzies), since we know what happened after May.
