After the performance today (not only the the defensive resolve from the Bradford 17) we can go to St Helens or should that be Widnes on Friday and come away with another two points.

St Helens 20-26 Bradford. Attendance: 7,600.

At least it's a Friday game so only four days to go

my head says Saints for this one. The performance today was much improved but last week only reminds us how we need to improve the consistancy.

Tough game but hopefully we'll take some confidence and momentum from this afternoons performance.

Potter will no doubt be looking forward to trying to get one over on his former employers. He'll know better than anyone how to beat them, so it's up to the lads to follow that gameplan and put in another performance.

Need best performance of the year next week and we need to look after the ball a bit more. Defence was good today so lets hope we can keep that up. Hard call to leave Royston out for me but Sykes looked good today and we need a better kicking game to relieve ourselves of pressure at times, for that reason Ive opted to drop BK back to FB and Sykes in at LC whilst Briggs returns to stand off. Really liking the look of Olbison, seems steady as a rock alongside Elima.. Think Whitehead could be a good weapon from the bench aswell.

Swap Sykes for Olbison.

As I said on the other forum Sykes has played himself into the 17 for next weeks trip to Widnes.

Potter did say that he would pick the team via onfield form and today Sykes didn't put a foot wrong.

I'm assuming it's Wigan v Warrington on tv? I'll struggle to get across in time on a Friday, would love to go

Same 17 as last week but Briggs in for Sykes. Briggs and Herbert in the halves with BK to full back. Royston fills me with more confidence in defence than Sykes.

It's not so much his defence as his consistency that concerns me about Sykes. He played a great game on Sunday, but he never seems to be able to carry good form over from week to week
