| As I said in the Bradford vs Wakefield game thread the two points aren't certainly beyond us on Sunday with Herbert now back from injury and the team playing well in parts but an away trip to Huddersfield in this day and age is a tough assessment for any club in Super League.
Long gone are the days when we would win by 40/50/60+ etc but if we do cut down the silly errors (our second half completion rate was abysmal due to the stupid basic errors) and it's these errors that are our main problem along with the cheap penalties which once again saw us concede score six points today and learn to respect the ball then we have a good chance against a Huddersfield side that make very few mistakes and have a decent defence.
I saw enough on Friday in the Quins vs Giants game that tells me that Huddersfield if drawn into a battle of the fowards will struggle against the likes of Scruton, Lynch, Koppy, Whitehead, Olbison etc.
There isn't much in it on paper so it has the makings of a decent game and there should be a another 10,000+ crowd to witness the "Battle Of West Yorkshire"
Bulls to just edge a thriller by 4 points and I'm already counting down the days to Sunday.
COME ON YOU BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| If we continue to cut down the errors and penalities as we have game on game so far, we can win. Its almost a good sign that we have two wins and are top of the stats for errors and pens.
Still need to improve on today though in completions and efficiency of scoring points. Wakefield bombed two tries that could have made things more difficult.

That's the spirit.
Get Lynch and Scrutes to smash Crabtree and Ferguson.

| Just letting the Giants know what they are. Seem they are having trouble admitting the truth. Pretty good wasn't I?
Anyway, will be a toughy. Giants are a quality outfit these days. We're going to have to put in our best performance if we're to come away with two points. Murphy reckons Langley could be back so thats a boost.

| It means a lot to the Giants fans to beat us, they're still carrying a few chips on their shoulders. So I expect the team will raise their game from the rather poor showing on Friday night versus Harlequins.
Not much in it on paper so it has the makings of a decent game if we can manage to avoid D1ck Silverwood.

| What a load of Tosh.
Inferior Bulls to lose by 20 plus.
Outclassed in every department and already moaning about the Ref.
Only reason the Bulls get 10,000 plus crowds = £60 Season tickets.

Think I'd rather dodge Bentham out of all them (Silverwood inc) after his performance at the wigan game, don't need someone who turns a blind eye to the wrestlemania tactics that we're going to get off these lot

See? Potato field.
Inferior? Huddersfield have only got 2 more points on the table than Bradford and the only top class team (ie the ones the bookies are putting money on as being the ones who will be there or there abouts when the silverware is handed out) is Warrington, and they ended the game with only 12 players. Where as Bradford faced both Leeds and Wigan in the first two weeks of the season.
Only reason Huddersfield get 10,000 plus crowds = oh, they DON'T get 10,000 plus crowds.

| Could be tight as a ducks a**e this one but I still think our silly mistakes are going to let us down! Whilst we can get away with it against Wakey and Crusaders I dont think a team like Hudds will be so forgiving and will punish us!!! Hopefully Langley will be back to bolster the pack up!!

| my head says Hudds for this one, we'll be going to their patch after making quite a few mistakes per match in our last 3 outings. if we stop the mistakes, the defence is decent enough to keep their score down and we could grind a result out.

| Hudds should be big favourites. They make very few mistakes and have a decent defence. We really need to cut out the errors. In the 2nd half our completion rate was abysmal and it's the errors that are our main problem. We need to avoid lapsing back into the bad habits of last season where we make an error and then compound it with a penalty one play later. We did it a couple of times yesterday.

Agree Sam, we are still our own worst enemy at times.
That said the first 20 of the second half, saw some outstanding defence (granted we brought much of it on ourselves). Last season, we would have crumbled quickly under that pressure.

| Too right. The goal line defence was much better yesterday but as you said we put pressure on ourselves. One or two players are sometimes trying a bit too hard and losing the ball.
However with the ball in hand we are looking like we're gradually starting to gel. The build up for Olbison's try was excellent as was the build up for Roystons from the Kearney kick.
Once we cut out the errors we'll be a much tougher proposition for anyone. Versus Wigan we lost the game in the 1st half where they scored every time we made an error.

| My head says Hudds but not by much and i think they could be in for a shock if like a few other posters have said we cut out the silly errors (forced passes and silly penalties). Looking at there site alot a saying 20+, thats just silly. I'll go Hudds by 6.
Will be good to see how we fair against one of the "so called" top 4 teams.

| If we cut down the mistakes and score tries like roystons first (I think it was his first anyway...the kearney kick to raynor) then I think Bulls by 10+

i think it was just good to see genuinely creative play yesterday. there was a lot of flair about the pitch too. ainscough proved his worth for me and I think Raynor looked good on the opposite wing. I really don't think the team should be scared of anyone (apart from maybe warrington, wigan and leeds) this season once briggs is fit and he and Herbert get working together we should have so many options in attack with kearney hopefully moving to fullback. Not sure what I would do with royston then though because I want to see him on the pitch supporting like he does.
