Hi I was wondering who designs the banners for our forum as I feel like I could make a better more professional looking banner... no offence to who ever designed it.

I was thinking you guys could give me some examples of players you would like on the banner and I could knock you one up and if you don't want to use it you don't have to =

He's claiming to be able to design banners, not to be mystic meg.

Tbh, I do think other forums have more professional looking ones (Leeds for example) but I do like the current one. Although I think it will at the very least need editing as not many fans will want Orford on it.

I was on the leeds forum when thinking about this.

I think if you are serious about designing one, i'd design it first, then post it on here and see what everyone thinks.

Imo, the players you'd want on it would be our big name (or as close to) players, and then also the ones for the future.

was thinking the same maybe RA&B strips down the bottom 4 or 5 players and then the text from this banner in a more professional looking font... have to have potter on it somewhere

We usually have a comp or thread, and most votes gets it. But instead of talking the talk, just give it your best shot, post it, and if the folks on here like it and nobody comes up with a more popular one, then you never know, it could be fame at last.

So stop hiding your light under that there bushel. What do you want, a signed contract? Show us what you got!

This is my lunchtime effort FWIW - I'd probably add more players to it? The background looked better going red to yellow but I changed it to black so you couldn't see where I'd cut Langers out so easily

Sorry don't like that one at all. Thought you were going to do something 'professional'? It's too minimal, most of it is just standard black font on white space, after which there's nothing else but 3 coloured thick lines and a poor res photo cutout. Missions is much better.

Just my opinion of course.

I like a more minimal look but that's just my taste and it's not a good cut out as it's only a quick design I would spend more time on a proper banner. but if you don't like it you don't like it aha

Everyone has different tastes, that's why it's good to have several efforts and a vote

maybe if you could make the White background more textured, rather than just plain white.

Like the minimalist look though, less is more and that.
