good grief I hope not if its the red effort your referring to. The black one looks quite similar to the current polo shirt and wouldnt be bad in some form as the away shirt. Dont think club can afford to be radical with home shirt next year. We need a good solid traditional shirt after this years poor effort.

| It is the new home shirt and the black one is the away one.
I don't think the club were aware at the time what implications the panorama programe would have.

| They have got to be proposed kits, and we'll chose one of them as away, would have thought that the club would have a mainly white home shirt.
Why the club doesn't look on here, I've produced many kits on here that the fans like, and look a lot better than the gash kits kooga are producing.

Couldn't agree more. I wanted to buy a shirt this year, but didn't as I really don't want to be seen in either of our current efforts. So that £50ish the club didn't get. We need a return to basics, including the kit. Hopefully that brochure is just samples and ideas......

Indeed you have, and on consulting with the fans, maybe the club could do it through an "enter your design and everyone votes" on entries printed in the paper type thing through the T&A, might not be a bad idea? A small but relatively cost free way of re-engaging with the fan base?

I was watching that tonight, and I sat there a little confused at first. I couldn't work out why we were watching the lads train on Panorama. I Did understand it the end though.

Er...so that people will buy them and so the club gets more money to spend on all the things that people on here rightly complain they are not spending money on?

Kind of makes sense, but I agree, some kind of fan interaction would be good in this area - it's difficult to please everyone though isn't it?
Out of interest, which away kits do people think have been the best sellers in the SL era?

I'd be more than happy to have you liaise with the club as the 'voice of the fans' on this particular issue. You've mocked up some stunning kits mate.

Is it either the Big BLue one from c2000 or the green jack and jill one? I'm guessing they reckon traditional kits don't sell as well? My favourite away kit recently was the black centenary one.
If we don't have much say with Kooga maybe we should change to one where we do have more say? Surely the club is the customer in this relationship? I can't belive any global trands pointed to our current home kit being the way forward. Fair enough put out some outlandish away kits, thats part of the fun of the away kit, but please please please can we return to something like traditional for the home kit???
One thing I do agree with, there is no chance whatsoever that the club will please even half the peope half the time, esp when it comes to kits.

| I don't recall many incidents of football or rugby teams having kits designed by fans, for reasons Wigan Bull mentioned.
What they could ask suppliers to do as a minimum is come up with four or five designs and let fans have their say/vote on which they preferred, I know quite a few football teams have done that in the past, some do it annually now.

In terms of the warmth the club would engender by involving the fans, doing so would surely be a shrewd move. It would be worth putting that to Mr Duffy for discussion at the fans forum perhaps?

Go on then. You might find it's a bit late in the day for next season though.
