Wire for me. Better chance of a final at the end of it. But a close-run thing. Reckon a good win against Leeds might have a bigger impact on support for the rest of the year. Holding out hope for both...

I'd rather progress in the cup if we were only going to win one. However I'm worried about how much the Leeds game will take out of the team.

Wire - if I could guarantee one. But only if we can have Catalan in the semi.

It's tough as a win against Leeds would be a big step towards us finishing top 4. Lose against Leeds and we could end up 7th if other results go against us as.

If they were both League games, it'd be Leeds without question. Since the Wire game is a cup Quarter Final and the Leeds is a league game though, I agree, I'd say the cup is the more important. It would be nice to get somewhere in the Challenge Cup again after a few years without (I attend the Grand Final every year, regardless of who's there, but not the Cup Final).

Seriously though, I can't remember the last time we had two straight easy games on the trot. We need to take advantage, not get complacent, and win both.

A cup final appearance is probably about the only thing that could get any sort of feel-good factor (and subsequently numbers) back.

If we only win one, then for me it would be more important for the club to progress in the ch cup.
BTW if we lose to Leeds the n I'll also lose a tenner

What twaddle. Leaving aside that there is already a growing FGF around the place, exploits in the Cup are largely irrelevant to home league crowds.

Think the FGF has returned quite a bit this season really. There have been some glitches but it's a massive improvement on last season's debacle.

Got to be wire if I could pick a certain win. Its been a long time since we've been in a cup semi with a shot of the final and I'd much prefer that to 2 league points TBH even if it is Leeds.

Both would be nice though. Aim high!

A Wembley appearance always has, and always will mobilise a large number of fans, OK plenty will be just there for the day trip but if things are progressing well on the pitch an enjoyable occasion like a Wembley appearance could be the spark that gets people back at Odsal regularly.

If we beat Leeds then theres no guarantee of a top 4 finish, we could lose every other league game (heaven forbid).

Beat Wire and we're guaranteed a semi final spot. Win that and we're in the final, happy days are here again.

Very much the forgotten semi - and with good reason, we were dreadful despite reasonable form going into the match. There was also a lot of talk that Lesley would have come back if we'd gotten to Wembley IIRC.

Indeed, feels longer though as I've almost blanked that day out, I thought we had a decent chance after putting 50 on shuddersfield in the quarters but we were never really in with a shout with that one IIRC.

At least you didn't have to endure sitting next to Asim for the entire 80mins as well.

What about that try in the quarter final when Deacs kicked from the base of the scrum and Marcus St Hillaire out paced the entire Hudds team to run onto it and score the try.

I'd say Wire, if we get beat by Leeds then there are still 12 weekly rounds remaining in which to secure as high a finish as possible and thus secure a better chance in the play offs. However in the cup there are no second chances and it has been a while since we made a challenge cup final so to be one game away from the final would be nice.

Wire is far more important. To get into the semi's after beating the team placed 2nd in the league would be a massive boost for us. Beating Leeds is always fantastic and the only reason that is really important is because it is against Leeds. All the bickering between Bulls and Leeds fans on here who both goad each other with the importance of the game and how both seem to see it as a 'cup final' game make me laugh I have to say. Of course we all see it as a majorly important game all the time. It's a massive derby (possibly the biggest in super league) and the players see it as a cup final game so why shouldnt we?! Every Leeds game is one of most important games in the year for me. I never want to lose to Leeds....and neither do the players. If you think that's such a bad thing then IMO opinion you are not a proper Bulls or Leeds fan....
