| Hello,
So those at the match tonight would have noticed a few rows of idiots at the back of the Pink Stand. Some of them I'd never seen at a match before, others were more noticeable, such as the young ginger who has 'ginner' on the back of his shirt.
Tonight, I was ashamed for us as fans, having to be associated with scum like that. The majority were smacked off their heads with booze, more than likely most of them not even old enough to drink.
Chants of 'Just a town full of rapists', 'Hit em hard, Fuck em up' amongst others are not needed in our game - especially one that is often referred to as a family sport. Any parent there tonight who took their kids would have been wishing they'd never gone.
The stewards gathered at one point, and looked like they were going to eject the lot of them (about 20-30 in all) but backed off when they realised they were outnumbered. The stewards politely asked them to sit down and knock off the stupid chants, but were ignored on every occasion. Other disgraceful chants were done.
As I walked out, the crowd congregated and I heard quite a lot mentioning getting in touch with the club and complaining about this idiots.
So please Bradford, get the footage from the Giants, ban the group of idiots (who sat behind the sticks right at the back of the Pink Stand) from Odsal, and distribute their pictures to other clubs so that these idiots can be removed from our game.
Tonight, I was embarrassed to be a Bradford fan based on a minority who'd had too much to drink and couldn't keep their mouths shut.

| That ginner chap is a regular pain in the ar$e at home games regularly trying to intimidate away fans until he is stood up to. Was very aggresive at Warrington away last year, made my day when he gave some Warrington fans some abuse and got his nose punched for his trouble, he was then very keen to play the victim.
Could well do without hem and all his chavvy mates.

Not condoning violence or intimidation but what is wrong in getting behind your team what would have you expected fans to do, sit down and be quiet ? Thought it was a decent atmosphere tonight shame about the result.

I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. There's nothing wrong with supporting the team, but the group at the top go too far with what they're chanting.
Oh and another observation - we didn't play Leeds tonight, so there is no need to chant about them. At the end of the day, this isn't football, chants that include multiple 'fukcs' aren't needed.. as isn't the rape one.

Nothing at all wrong with getting behind your team, what makes you think that is his point?
I was sat on the fringes tonight so didn't see the ginger prat but he is a well known trouble maker along with his cronies. Certainly can do without the offensive chants, that isn't getting behind your team.

| He's called Damian is that Ginge.
I know his last name too but forgot it.
Complete set of clowns are those lot, I was very embarrassed. Why can't they just go to City if they want to behave like football hooligans. There's no place for it at RL games.
"Who are the wonkers in the Blue"
What that all about. I mean we all hate Leeds, but that's taking it a bit to far IMO.

| seemed to be something going on in the Brittannia stand as well someone seemed to be thrown out.
It is good that you are condemning some of your own fans all teams have some idiots and as long as they know that others will not join in with them they will stay as a minority. We dont need them no matter which team they follow.

| Never agreed with any anti Leeds chants ( obvious personal reasons ) or ones involving swearing.
Though sometimes it has to be said, the atmosphere Bulls fans create is poor. Not really away from home, but definitely at Odsal. I can only see the main reason being Odsal simply doesn't have a roof. Recently went to support my football team. I've simply forgotten how much more aggressive and male the atmosphere is ( though i did enjoy it ). Showed me that rugby league really is a family fanbase.
I was more annoyed today with the older element of Bulls fans who seem to want to continually tell people to sit down when something exciting is happening and people do stand up! I've had it before at all seater stadia. it creates arguements against fellow fans. Rugby fans are stand up fans! Wigan, Hull, Huddersfield ruin it with their fancy football stadiums.

I bet you saw my old man telling young fella to sit down a few times tonight. lol.
Young chap was fine about it though.
At end of day, everybody wants to see the game and everybody gets excited, as long as someone isn't continually stood up in a all seater stadium then it's ok to jump up when there something to jump up for imo and I don't think my old fella is bothered about that either.

| To be honest I was near the back behind the sticks in the Pink stand but I didn't hear any of those chants. A lot were jumping up and down and one or two ignorant sods remained standing for quite a while but nothing really untoward happened.

| They were all about twelve weren't they? By the time we got into the ground we'd virtually filled our end and were sat on the end of the stand. i couldn't make out much of the chants but the constant "we all hate leeds sc*m" has no place in our sport at all. We weren't even playing them though that makes no difference to me refering to other fans as sc*m is completely disrespectful.
I think it was the same group that might have been involved in an incident in St Georges square.
My brother and I went into Huddersfield town centre for a couple of drinks and as we entered the square from Northumberland St a middle aged bloke walking in the opposite said something about rugby fans to a couple in front of us. I just heard the lady saying "well that's cos they're from Bradford" - nice - and then say a group of lads (I'd say they were somewhere between about sixteen and twenty one in age) were shouting abuse at a young couple walking off towards nando's. this group then walked up the square towards the train station. I couldn't tell if they were in fact Rugby fans at all but I thought one of them had last years away shirt on.
Does the club run a coach to Huddersfield? If they did was anyone on here on it and with these wassocks?

| I would add i think it's a bit OTT to expect people to be banned cause some chants are in poor taste. I swear a lot myself at rugby, as do a lot of folk round me.
And i was near a fair few old people asking every bugger to sit down.

The reason for this though is because there are some incredibly ignorant people who insist on standing up at every small opportunity. Nobody has a problem with standing up at the big moments, but there are some who seem to want to stand the entire game. This then gets people annoyed and they start overreacting to those who are only standing occasionally.
If everyone just had a little consideration for those behind them and tried not to do it excessively, there wouldn't be an issue. There was a couple of blokes a few rows in front of me that were more of less stood up constantly for the last 20 minutes, as every time they did actually sit down, they were up again seconds later and didn't sit back down for a good few minutes. The poor lad behind them couldn't see a thing, as he didn't want to stand and block the person behind him too, but he was too timid to ask the guy in front of him.
What is needed is a nice balance. Nobody has to sit down the entire game, but have a bit of consideration for the people behind you.
It's not really difficult.

Again, I think you're missing the point completely.
The ginger one, has been banned from Odsal before and I'd suspect it's the same case for a few of his other cronies. They're known troublemakers and nothing more than hooligans.
The odd bad language is fine, but the amount last night was disgraceful. Again, for a sport that is marketed as being family oriented, if you have young kids and take them to the game, I'm sure your attitude towards that group maybe slightly different.

All very fair, or do as I did and sit at the very back so you can do as you please. I sympathise with people who enjoy standing/jumping up off their seat, I enjoy myself much more at grounds that have standing areas.

There was a coach from the club. To be honest it was pretty quiet one (even on the way there) so I guess they made other arrangements.

Exactly yeah. If you know you're a bit excitable and tend to jump and stand up more than is fair on folk behind you, just try to sit somewhere where there isn't lots of people. There were plenty of seats fairly near me that nobody was sat in, so if the people who wanted to stand almost all game wanted to do that, just sit in a seat without people behind you.
