All white, just with thin RAB stripes. Anyone got one? Pic to show what I'm on about?

I picked one up off Ebay for less then £5 last season. There isn't any on there at the moment but I've often seen them for sale so just keep checking. Yep i've got one must have had it since 1980 or so, giving my age away now, NORTHERN..... NORTHERN.... peter fox... ellery hanley.... henderson gill..... sir keith.... jumpers for goalposts!

I`ve got one, I think from the early seventies, all white with RA&B stripes. Not sure about them being `thin` though, they`re ( I`ve just had the tape out) 1 and a half inches or 450 mm wide for each colour.

Strange, I`ve never had a problem with primrose and blue myself.........................

Yep, I have one. Circa 1975 I think.

I also have a 1973 pure silk one I bought from Carters for Wembley. It's orange with black lettering on it. Says "Super Northern"

That's why I want the scarf, so my feet and neck coordinate.

The more recent scarves have much narrower stripes than the one I have, mine is also made from what I can only call `woolly jumper` type wool, and not the much smoother, close knit type of weave on the newer ones. As for thick and thin......I guess there must be must be a defined point where a fat stripe becomes a block (ratio between length and width perhaps? Oh no, not even off season am I really going to get involved in that

) but I`m sticking with regarding the white on mine as background!

Don't have any plain ones, I've seen some advertised on ebay that are white with RAB, but I think they're just "Germany" ones that have been marketed to another group of fans.

No. The plain white background with the ra&b stripes are the older ones, in any case (if you`re not being serious I apologise....) the German flag, scarf has the colours in a different order: from the top black, red and amber.

A mighty collection but like mine, missing the classic all white with RAB (and the underrated classic green, yellow and purple effort - I've got that one...)

Apologies af, it's tough to pick up Bulls items over here in Australia. I brought back a half dozen or so shirts last week when I was over, came back with another Northern scarf too.

You used to be able to get a discounted last year's Bulls shirt for £20, take it to Aus and got Garry Jack's shop in Kings Cross where he'd swap you a full price NRL shirt. But I think he went out of business...
