was just wondering how far is valley parade from odsal roughly,

as much as i like travelling to odsal the veiw from th away stand is quite a distance when you get to 48, was just wndering would the chances be slim sharing with bradford city?

away fans hated valley parade despite the better view. At odsal away fans can sit or stand where they want and many choose to watch from the covered family stand or the pop side.

Valley parade sucked.



Rumour has it when we come to move out of Odsal, well be Dewsbury bound until the redevelopment is complete.

We tried 2 years there! The club would know how to operate out of there if it came to the crunch.

Obviously the Stadium does not currently meet SL standard nor is it big enough. Is the pitch good enough for SL.. never been in the summer months! Is the adequate parking space for +8K fans in the surrounding area? If we can solve some of the above problems and it still be more cost effective than VP then I'd much prefer to be watching the Bulls there! Plus I'd rather help line the pockets of a RL club than any other person or organisation.

Does anyone really believe that the building contracts will be signed to redevelop Odsal?

We shall have to wait and see won't we?

I think that IF the bulldozers move in in 2011 it'll depend on howmuch it costs I doubt that Flamingo Land will want to drop their rent considerably from what they charge City so it could see us leaving Bradford for a year. Valley Parade's pitch is too small and my dad had his tyres slashed there but apart from that at the right price it would be ok.

Goal line to goal line was 88 metres long.

Is their a minimun pitch length between try line in Sl and minimun in-goal depth.

The developers have signed up but Bulls claim just a Letter of Intent has been issued.

If we dont redevelop Odsal or another site then we are knacked as a club. and it will be the demise of SL in bradford within 3/5 years

If we do then we need to temporarily play elsewhere during the development period. Almost cetainly two seasons, but maybe just one depending on timings and the phases and scope of development.

Our options are limited for alternative venues without going into the Leeds boundary. VP, Dewsbury, Keighley and Halifax are the only remaining potential stadia within an acceptable distance.

Whilst the latter 3 do not meet SL criteria the Bulls will majority finance work neccessary at Dewsbury as part of the rental/support deal in conjunction with the Odsal developers.

Unlike VP, Dewsbury will allow and facillitate the Bulls sponsors in most respects.



VP have remained intransigent in thier dealings for future potential use by the Bulls in that, as the same as our last usuage, it would cost more to be there than income they allowed us to derive. It was a huge loss for us.
