If the rumours of Deacs going to Wigan are true I'd like to see a match v Wigan at Odsal so the fans can give him a good send off. Like him or not he has been a good servant to the club and the last link with the glory days. Bradford really are entering a new era.

doubt we can squeeze it in now. weve already got cas on boxing day, leeds on 17th jan and hull kr scheduled, plus at least one game against a nl1 team. maybe space between leeds and hullkr game but I'd guess that would be where the nl1 game would be assuming warm weather/team bonding training somewhere between boxing day and leeds game.

edit: wigan have announced their pre-season fixtures and we arent one of them. sts,wakey,leigh and wire.

according to todays League Express were playing Dewsbury Rams at there place on the 22nd of Jan

Dewsbury, Leeds Cas & one more would be a perfect pre-season imo.

tbh, the more pre-season games we can get sorted the better imo.
we've got 6 players coming into the team and we need to get them bedded in and all knowing what they're supposed to be doing

Someone mentioned the deal with Hull KR, and I heard somewhere that we might be having a trip to the Shay.

hull kr announced friendly against us a few weeks part, part of deal which saw stanley gene move to them iirc. can't seem to find it online anywhere though. think it was due to be last friendly before season starts.

get the impression we prefer away games as it avoids us having to foot the bill for opening odsal for a smallish gate. plus we get the full gate receipts from hull kr game anyway.

Agreed. And interestingly the KR game is on a Thursday so we can play it whether we have a game brought forward or not.
