It has been the worst Super League season ever for the bulls but who do you think has been our worst player this season?

For me, it's been Sykes or Sherrife who runs 50 metres sideways and 1 forward and sykes has benn awful this year and deacs has had a shocker but who has been the worst?

From what i've heard, it would of been Sheriffe, still not sure what you lot have done to him!

I think these lack couple of weeks with Sykes at 6 he seems to be playing a little better. With Menzies replacing him at right centre Sheriffe's defensive frailities are less easy to exploit especially given Sykes kept wandering too far in field for a centre

Really i thought he's been rubbish still.

For nay readers from Australia - Burgess. He has been dire this year.

Difficult to choose from a team of underperformers I'd say. For me, Jeffries has been a disappointment.

Those 4 tries & 19 assists pale into insignifance against the other high achievers.

I wouldn't say Deacon has been the worst...........just dissapointing compared to prior years performances from he days of being the GB Number 7!

Sherriffe in my opinion has consistently put it below par performances and in my view, is worse than Platt but whilst Platt is made Macca's scape goat, Sherriffe still gets a start!

I'd probably say Newton

He's one player who, if he could have been bothered, has the presence, ability and passion to take our team by the scruff of the neck and drive us forward

But he has so rarely done it. That's why I'm glad we didn't offer him a new deal - he judst hasn't done what is require from him

I agree, the poor performers certainly outnumber the good performers three to one this season.

Cant choose between Sheriffe or Deacon.

If you're going to quote stats, how's about his 49 missed tackles and 26 errors for a guy that's made 19 appearances.

Indeed. Jeffries blows hot and cold, always has, this should've been well known when we signed him.

Has he proven a successful signing? No. He's just done what he's always done.

I think we can safely say that McNamara isn't the greatest at getting improved performances and consistency from average players.

It would be interesting to see which players attending Tuesdays BBQ are able to look their fans in the eye and hold their heads high. On a side point I'm also curious as to whether departing players will be in attendance.

I don't think many i'll turn up to this BBQ and some players will get some stick off fans, i'm going but i'm not gunna have a go at the players and funny that were having an open fans BBQ wen we've had are worst season in Super League.

I hope people don't have a go at the players during things like this, as I don't think it's the time or the place.

This is a social do really, and the players, although technically working, are there to be social too.

I work in IT and if I go to a work's social do, I hate the people that come up to me and start talking about how slow their PC is. It's the same when people start going up to the players during things like this to slag off their performances.

Comes with the territory I'm afraid. The crap season we're having is bound to crop up in conversation isn't it?

It is, but there's ways and means of doing it. Slating the players at a social do isn't the right way imo. There are plenty of opportunities to vent feelings, but when a player is there making you a burger, I don't think it's the right time.

TBH the people who like to have a go on these boards would be at the back of the queue in a face to face confrontation. Personally I'm in two minds to go or not, I've a feeling it's going to be an uncomfortable occasion for players and fans alike.

Think there are exceptions to that rule (Red, for example), but yes would be interesting to see how some of the keyboard warriors got on face-to-face with their playing or management targets.

Given the club is making an effort with this as a social function, I'd think it was only fair that attendees kept their powder dry as far as possible?
