If it's a dry day then it should be a very good game of RL. Both sides can play some good attacking RL so possession and defence will as usual be key to who takes the points.

I think it is fair to say that this is a must win, I expect the Bulls have set a target to make sure they win all their remaining home games.

Bulls will win but only just possibly taking a lead of 12 to 16 points at the beginning of the second half ending the game winning by 2 points.

Not a classic but a win none the less and the players will feel a little more confident from here. The first step on a road to the unbeaten end of season run in. That will see the Bulls stick one up to Stevo and go into the playoffs like an out of control steamtrain.

if we can carry on performing like we have the last 4 games then a win should definitely be the aim. It would be nice to win by at least 2-3 trys to help build up some confidence in both the players and the supporters.

We sure as hell better make it, or Steve Mac will have some answering to do. If we don't make it then that will be the final straw for me and my banner for Macca out will be flying high and mighty.

Even then I can't see it being enough. IMO the teams above us have too big of a lead on us. Also it would means us starting to show the type of form that hasn't been evident over the last 18 months.

they all have to play each other, because there are loads of them. Throughout the year, a 50/50 record has been enough for 6th or 7th. Maybe a statto can further inform us but I think that will be enough.

Mate, bear in mind that most of those teams have to play each other. They can't all get two points every week.

A 50/50 record most years would get 7th or better. Any team that gets a 50/50 record and comes 9th would be unlucky.

So the rather obvious trend is that an overall 50/50 record gives you just making the playoffs (bearing in mind too that previous years were played with a Top 6 and 12 teams in the league).

If it's desperate, I could probably look further back too, but it seems pointless judging by those figures.

I agree with people in saying that this is a crucial game, and close to 'must win'.

It would be unthinkable for a club of our stature to fail to make the Top 8 - and yet if we lose tomorrow it looks likely

Nice work RER - but you've basically ended up agreeing with me. Six wins or less won't do it, but seven most likely would. You have us in 9th, right? And if all your predictions come off except we beat Wigan at home, that would put us on 27 points, ahead of them and Wakey.

Let me reiterate that my point isn't that we will make the play-offs, just that it is more up-for-grabs than people seem to think. Every game's a cup final till we've lost three...

We play better away from home and after the defeat against the Dragons eight days ago we have someting to prove.

Well, given that the only team between us and the play offs to lose so far this weekend is hull there's even more presure on Bradford to get a result this afternoon

It could depend on who plays at centre. If we`re back to a defensive combination of Sykes and Sheriffe on the right hand side it will most likely mean we`ll have to score at least ten points more to win than if Beaver plays no. 3. If not we need to hope that Rikki defends like he did at Warrington and not like on too many other occasions this season. Oh for a defender like Scott Naylor.

I'm pretty confident of a win today.

I'm backing us to reach the play offs. Lets hope we start to play some good rugby on the way too.
