| Seemed like we dominated Wolves all game long, never allowing them to get into any stride. Forced errors from them and took our chances well. A good performance.

| very enjoyable game. Effort 100% accross the park. Goal line defence much improved on last week. Offloads very effective. Morro made just 1 mistake in whole game and beat himself up trying to make up for it. Halley, tadulala, beaver, langers, sheriffe all good. Deacs much better. Overall better performance than last week. Room for improvement but looks like we're up for a hard fought run-in

| m62 report: briers went off tripping over his bottom lip when we scored early on. Wire not that bad, weak in final play attack but otherwise no different to when they thrashed us at home. We were better. Defence best i've seen us since saints away

| Shame our game in hand isn't midweek this week or something, because if we won it then we would be right up in the playoffs.

Disappointing again unfortunately. His in game kicking was pretty woeful and actually put US under pressure a few times. I don't like to bag him too much because he has been a great servant to the club, but we need him to sort himself out soon. Once Godwin is back I can see him being replaced with Rinaldi who looked good again today.
If he keeps up his form form the last two games.. it wont be long until he wins me over for a longer contract.

| I thought he was a lot better.
He tackled well in the first half which normally seems to go unnoticed but is important in the middle of the field.
Last week he got a bad knock in the ribs which nearly finished him for the game - I found that out early in the week but didn't want to leak the info to our opposition before the game!!!
He managed to make a bigger impact this week but as ever it's his mistakes which get the headlines. He made a couple in the second half and is not back at his best as yet.
Was it his long sweet kick which got our second try in the first half? I was looking the other way so didn't see. If it was his then it was enough in its self to earn his pay for the week.
It was our defence where the biggest difference was made. We need to kick on and make it even better for the next couple of weeks at least.
If we have ANY ambition in the play-offs we have to get at least one result from the next two games.

| Well we needed improvement from the Wakefield win and they did just that. Our defence was rock solid for long periods and Wire had little success in breaking us down. Both wingers swallowed some towering kicks to the corner and made plenty of yards for the side.
However the most pleasing aspect for me was how well we performed as a TEAM. They worked hard for one another and the effort was there for all to see. If we can continue in the same vein then we should have little to fear against Saints and Leeds. We just need to continue to reduce the amount of errors we're making. But we're heading in the right direction.
Well done.

Keep discussion in one spot. Anything on there you want to comment on, copy and paste it here.
That said, seeing as we won which always kills this board dead, maybe I've been a bit officious.

No, I'm almost certain it was Jeffries. Well if you're talking about the Nero try anyway! But we only scored 1 try in the first half.

The hooter had sounded and we kept the ball alive for Deacon to slot one over.

| Quote "I think the time when we played at Odsal we were in a bit of a flat spot and they were probably in a similar type of situation today themselves," said McNamara, whose side went down 58-22 earlier in the season.
"They've had a tremendous run in the league and the cup which went to extra-time and at some stage it catches up with you.
"But right from the start we were on the upper hand today and thankfully we pushed it on."
...
"They kick the ball really well and have players in the side who can test you with kicks but fortunately for us Lee Briers suffered an injury.
"It restricted them slightly but our back three caught most of the balls on the full, retained very well and got us on the front foot at the start of some of our sets."'"

| The effort shown by the whole TEAM today was brilliant, you could tell they wanted it and were playing for each other. Our forwards dominated theirs and forced lots of errors. Sheriffe has improved lots, both wingers and Halley looked confident under the high ball. Halley was once again brilliant, we need him signed up for next year. beaver and Nero were good in the centres, I have lots of praise now and not many negatives, because we played well as a team. Deacon still wasn't at his best, but he improved on last week. Jeffries looked good and threatened the line on several occasions. Langley was good, he's finally finding some much needed form that we have been longing for from him. Scruton kicked on again from last week; also finding form. Lynch was at his usual consistent best. Whitehead looked good in his spells and made a cracking offload. Newton was good, no errors, and Rinaldi was quality again. Another thing I have to congratulate is Glenn Morrison's performance. He was one of the best players on the pitch on his first week back, Him and Beaver seem to link up really well in attack. Kopzcak also played well. I'm happy with that performance, but we will still need to improve. Keep forcing the errors and cutting them out of our attacking game and we will be good. Our defence was brilliant, if it keeps like that we should be in for a good game against both Saints and Leeds and I can see us winning at least one.

He went good. Made a good offload, a few tackles and ran the ball in on several occasions.
