Interesting to see what role McNamara has in mind for Halley with Platt Sheriffe and Tadulala also in the squad.

I would imagine 1 of those four will be ommited from the 17

Probably, but I could easily see a scenario whereby Platt starts at FB, Sheriffe and Tadulala start on the wings and Halley starts on the bench to come on for any of the above as the game dictates with Crookes and Worrincy being dropped from the 19.



I also agree with this, why call him up and not include him? and I think it depends on the reason Platt was on the bench last Sun, if he's got a knock then put Halley in at FB. If Platt is fit he goes to FB and Halley could get a shot on the wing instead of Sheriffe.

Platt felt unwell last week, was off colour so macca put him on bench.

Was reported in the Craven blurb about Crookes that Platt had been ill.

Fair enough I suppose. Remember someone did a "Why isn't Sykes our FB" thread a few weeks back. Well while Platt was on the bench he got his answer.

Cheers for that, so if fully recovered he goes back in at FB and Halley competes for one of the wing spots, probably at the expense of Sheriffe.

Hopefully, but Tadulala seems to have been very quiet aswell. I know thats a lot down to him not recieving the ball but Sheriffe seems to be wanting to prove himself more.

I wouldnt offer much argument if either got a rest and Halley got a chance. Neither has had much decent service and both have looked good in parts and bad in parts but at this stage with our backs as they have been its tough to fairly critique them.

Of the two I'd rather see Taduala play, but a few times on Sunday Tadulala was walking up in front of his whilst the play was developing to the point where he was still in front of his when the got the ball and so a pass was never available, one time the pass did go when this happend and we rightly got pinged for a forward pass that was completely avoidable.

tadulala has been a bit quiet but he hasnt made any glaring errors either whereas sheriffe has made a few so halley in for sheriffe for me.

Why does it say Catalans to eclipse us but then by 4?

I know it's only a start, but if it was "an eclipse" wouldn't he give them a bigger start?

It's difficult to tell unless you say what your funny feeling is.

It's a hard one to call this. Two badly out-of-sorts teams playing each other. Bulls looking to bounce back - but then so are Catalans, and they will be fancying their chances of kick starting their season.

I'm assuming Halley plays, otherwise why bother recalling him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at FB with Platt on the bench and Sykes missing out. Hard to see what Semi has done to be dropped, and I suspect MacNamara will stick with Sheriffe a while longer (seeing as he one of his recent signings)

Do we know if a certain Gregory Bird will be playing in this? I know he was missing last week but is he back in le francais to try and show Bulls what they are missing?

He wasn't missing last week. He managed to get to Aus and back in time to play off the bench.

Is he playing this week though?

He's in their 19-man squad, so I assume so.
