Yes, what bothers me is when you look at Workington's results how strong they are in the second half of games.

Glad it's not just me. I've been losing sleep since last Sunday!

Must admit I’ve been getting more nervous last couple of days.

Yes. We've not done our selves justice the last few big games (fev debacle, the MPG)

Time for us to stand up. The bookies have us favourites. It's all about our mental strength. We play like we did last week, we win. Just got to go set of set early on. Ignore the antics. Even the defeat at our place, you think how badly we played, an inept ref, appaling selections by Kear, we still should have won. Pickersgill should have finished off a try, Grant having a walk-in disallowed because he was stood about 3m in front of his centres. Do the basics we win. Newcastle hammered them by 50. Don't be scared of them.

Leon will have them fired up. Just got to concentrate on ourselves. Losing doesn't bare thinking about. Hopefully we didn't peak last week!

Were going to blow them away in the first half hour ala Wigan in that grand final......if not I'll be bricking it !!

When I was younger I was lucky enough to compete in a couple of sports events at a reasonable level. You're never as nervous because you are in "control", much worse to be watching particularly for families.

Hopefully he and the rest of the players can take their minds off it and relax until warming up, saw a few who burnt off their nerves before events and did not perform to their best on the day.

Yes probably right. I’m nervous as a fan, as we all are, and nervous as a dad. I know he would be devastated if we don’t go up.

Having been a fan since the early days of Superleague, like others on this forum, I've lived the highs and lows of the Bulls for over 20 years now. My kids have grown up, left home, and had kids of their own in this time.
I have to say that I have never been so excited, but at the same time nervous, since our numerous trips to Wembley and Old Trafford.
Sadly, the MPG just about tipped me over the edge as a supporter, but I stuck in there, fascinated by the journey I ( and others ) have had to endure to re-build this proud club.
Tomorrow can be the first firm step on the ladder back to success if all our players follow their coach and maintain their composure.
Best of luck to everyone, and lets look forward to enjoying our "Wembley" occasion on our home turf for the final time in this league. Sing yer hearts out lads...C O Y B.....

I'm not nervous at all for some reason. Maybe it's the ale. I'm glad it's roger that's nervous and not Elliot. Anyone remember the 2001 Grand Final when the players turned up in casual gear with no sign of nerves whilst Wigan were wearing suit and ties and were edgy. The game was won by half time.
If the worst comes to the worst we get a second chance next week against a poor Swinton team who are used to losing.
If we play like last week and the ref doesn"t stand any nonsense then we win
We've won 5 more games than Workington this season so we have to be confident.

I have been excited all week but nerves have kicked in this morning! Feels like million pound game day all over again. I guess this is what being a supporter of a sports team is all about. If we win the rewards are massive, if we lose we come back next year to go through it all again.

I just keep telling myself that if we win, the whole of the last 12 years or so of decline/heartache will have been worth it and we will have been rewarded for sticking with the club through so many bad times.

Someone is in the kitchen making breakfast, whistling. So I guess nerves have not kicked in yet.

No nerves,coz if we replicate last weeks performance we win,simple as that.If we come out and go back to how we were playing,then yes anything can happen.I am sure last week was a turning point.

Last week's performance was enjoyed by all Bulls fans, and shows how the team can perform when it matters. Today is all about the players remembering the feelings of last week, getting the (hopefully huge) Bulls crows behind them, and believing that today is only the start of better times.
I'm taking 5 of us to the match today, whereas it would only have been me on my own for the past couple of years. Turn in a great performance, and we could see the home crowds starting to rise again quite dramatically next year. C O Y B

There's nothing to be nervous about.

Sure, we're in uncharted waters but you have to have faith that the people in charge know what they're doing and will be doing everything to ensure that today is a success.

That being said, I am really looking forward to seeing what Jodie Whitaker brings to the role of The Doctor and it should provide to be an interesting and entertaining experience.

THe fact that they have another chance (should they lose) next week means they have a safety net and as such I expect them to play with freedom and blow them away.
