Good to be signing someone at the right age - he sounds the part from what I'm reading on the web

I agree this looks to be a very good signing, young, regular in a very successful team, right price and wants to play for us. It reminds me a bit of the good solid aussies we've signed in the past like Gartner, Mckay, Boyle etc who we're not superstars as such but become excellent signings.

Very good signing and the right sort of age aswell. From what i've seen he's determined, fast and has occasionally looked a little like Roby on how fast he jumps into the oppositions line from the PTB. Good signing, now where's our half-back macca?

Hope you're right, I guess we'll see. Hooker is so important nowadays it's absolutely key that we get the right replacement for Newton.

Your spot on, 6/7/9, Without quality there we wont challenge, I've been of the opinion that idealy we need a new player in all 3 spots - 9 was the priority once it was confirmed Newton was leaving, this is Macca punt on 9, its looks a decent bet to me at this stage. But I guess we wont know for sure untill nest spring.
