The odds for Hull are excellent given the players they have recruited. All they need now is a coach & they could be a real threat.

They're basically predicting a 6th or 7th place finish for us then. I'd be happy with that tbh!

So they reckon we'll finish 11 points behind 1st place. Last year we were 17 points behind, so that would be a good improvement.

They must be in with a shout next year for some silverware.

When you say "worth a fiver", do you mean it would be worst the cost of £5 to show the optimism? Because they could offer a million to one and I wouldn't take that bet!

I don't see a massive improvement in Hull next year, they'll probably make the play offs but I wouldn't waste my cash backing them for SL glory.

I think Wigan are a good bet. Can see them making an impact next year.

On paper our team looks very good, I have massive dobuts about our coach, hopfully our new assistant coach (who I think might be our head coach in 2011) will have a big effect and help him out, with good input from Long and Fitzgibbon on the coaching front.

It was, I only stuck a fiver on but it came i very handy indeed. (they were 16-1 just after Smith took over, which was went I put on, but then the odds shortened)

No not Wire for the cup this year, but I might think about an each way bet for Wire to finish 1st in the regular season at 14-1. Leeds will be the team to beat obviously, but I think Saints will be slightly weaker and after Leeds you could pick any one of about 6 teams to get second to pay out on E/W, and so 14-1 looks a bit generous to me for Wire so that might be my bet this year, but I'll wait a bit yet I reckon. As for the CC, for some reason I think Wigan might do it, no reason at this stage, just a hunch.
