Quote ="bullinenemyland"Cheers. When I get home I'll try and look at other comments to see if I remember missing anything important.
I noticed Roger in attendance and it would be good to hear how he is feeling after what hes heard tonight.
As I said before, the message is fairly similar to past "fresh starts" but this was the lowest key one I've attended. Not glitz or free chocolate bars to bribe you with.... I took it as a lot of plain Yorkshire speaking with a tinge of hype in the form of a canadian accent.
This board sounds like it will change quite quickly so I don't think anyone can take much from tonight. It will all depend on who comes in for the long term.
Are players and fans going to buy into that when they know those they are negotiating with are gone in six months time?
I'll go as I'm a half glass full optimist with a gluten for punishment but some may decide it's not for them.
Feels there is quite a bit of the story still to tell'"
Hello mate, yes I was there listening to what was said.
I don’t think you could not listen intently and be quite impressed with what and how Mark Sawyer spoke about the future of the club. I thought he came across very well. Whether the chairman of another club is the person to do this, I really don’t know. It’s certainly a weird one. But I also noticed, probably a little more than some, John Kear was resigned to the fact the team will be nowhere near what it’s been this season. As it stands right now if we stay up next year I guess that will be the only aim, but how sad once again the team will be decimated
