If Chisholm's (probably considerable) wage was to be spent on a quality fullback, moving Ryan back to the wing, would that really be a bad thing? I'd argue not.
If he's released and nothing done with the saving after reducing the amount of halfback options, then that would require some explanation (not that I'd expect to see any).
LE have a snippet from Kear saying we’re trying to agree a loan half back but the parent club are asking too much in terms of wages, unless they drastically reduce then it won’t happen. Any guesses?
