Strange that he's only just linking up with them, but if he's just getting over the long term injury, he may have stayed at Odsal until his rehab was done.

should have stopped the game when the Oldham player was clearly in a bad way - but otherwise he had a good game overall.

The official rule is that it's at the referee's discretion. So essentially the referee can choose to totally ignore the fact he's given a team warning if he wants, or he could give a team warning 5 minutes into the game and then sin bin someone when the next penalty happens with a minute left.

Referees' discretion is probably the right way to do it, but it does leave everyone else in doubt - as far as the players are concerned maybe that is the reasoning behind it, and nebulous as it is there is, at least, some logic in that.

Wasn't it the Dewsbury home game where the ref used his descretion about 5 times before binning a player in last few minutes?
